You should be safe to react to these guys :) They just did their first mini tour outside of Japan in Feb this year (Germany and UK).. and gave shout outs on their twitter to someone at the London gig they recognised from a reaction. Most of us discovered them last year when this song went viral, they already have 22 albums and a ton of great videos :) Maybe try "Namahage" or "The Colour Out of Space" next? \m/

NI N GE N I SU is a heretic, unlike other Japanese musicians.
Most of Japanese songs are love songs.
However, this band deals with serious and important issues that other bands do not, such as the view of life, religion, morality, and life and death.

Ok Kristin, i 've watched your reacts, and i like your genuineness and unpretentiousness. One day on youtube, i fell down a square, Japanese rabbit hole of hard rock and metal. The four corners of the hole were made up by the bands Baby Metal, Ningen Isu, Love Bites, and the mighty BANDMAID. LoveBites is all lady power metal, and Bandmaid is hard rock. Check out "Shadowmaker" or "when destinies align" for Lovebites and i challenge you to find a bad one from Bandmaid. Both so fun and positive.

You're welcome! Hilariously, my intrest in all-female, Japanese hard rock bands was unknown to me until youtube dropped those bombshells on me, lol! What I truly appreciate in a band is SKILL and MUSICIANSHIP, and all of these bands have both. Ningen Isu = "Rush", LoveBites = "IronMaiden", and the awesome Bandmaid = " Fusion of all the best parts of hard rock", Baby Metal is just Baby Metal - so fun!

Take a look at some of their other videos--Lovers Suicide in Shinagawa, Namahage, Love Nirvana. They have some great songs from the last 30 years.

It's very rare to see a band with only three members they are well experienced and very dedicated to their music
Can you believe it ? It only started with three friends where they met each others in highschool xD
Band members r playing three roles : the drummer is a gangster yakuza x lead singer who's a samurai and finally the guitarist who's a monk and yes he can sing as well
This band is one of the deepest and purest forms of music I've heard in rock and metal industry they are fucking legends and finally they r going overseas 👏❄🤟

dont worry about it. 100% of the people i've seen reacting to this song have missed the heartless scat.
i even missed it the first few times i listened to it....and then suddenly it hit me like a ton of bricks.
the heartless scat is the fake happy face when confronting a lifetime of adversity and failure. that's why they sing it the way they do.
kali is a nice sativa landrace strain.
i never saw a band before with reaction videos to their own videos :-D
PS: the band name is Ningen Isu (hard 'g' like in "get"), no idea why it showed up named like that for you lol. I think if you edit your title more fans will be able to find it :)

An important part of their music is the song development. Originally, there are many elements inspired by the content of famous Japanese literature. Especially in terms of music, it is important to change of pace, and if you stop the song one by one like you, it's hard to feel the change.

They are comfortable working on minor labels.
It's very popular in underground live houses. That's why it lasted for 30 years.
Why can this band continue for 30 years when the Japanese don't know it at all?
Isu is pronounce eece. It's a silent u. I watched an interview a few months ago and that's how the guitarist pronounced it. I also thought it was ee-sue.. Just re-watched an interview vid and when they say Ningen it kind of sounds like Ni-gun with a slight sound of the second n almost a silent n on the nin. Hope that helps.
