I got my information direct from fish and game.
Not only did these guys stuff the weights down the gullets the fish were proven to not come from lake Erie they were caught the day before the two-day tournament at the same lake one of the tournament officials caught them at "acting strange" those fish were going to get tested even if there were no weights in them and they were going to get nailed for cheating
We all know lead weights are am important part of the walleye diet

I've been fishing every week for 45 years and I never once found a sinker in a fish and if those filets had been eaten by a fish their digestion would've started breaking them down already.

20 years pro sportfishing experience I have had a variety of fish eat leads especially new shiny ones but these guys were cheating

This is some of these guys livelihood. I remember going to some of these tournaments with my dad and his buddies. One time my dad won 10k for being 3rd. Imagine how much for 1st, and also imagine being cheated out of it.

They kept doing this over and over again. They were constantly winning tournaments, and if they were losing so many weight, they’d switch to heavier line.
I caught a smallmouth and found a 4" tube lure stuck down its stomach. I pulled it out and set him free.
They’ll just get probation… charges will get reduced and end up with probation probably.. I’m now a lawyer or anything but I just have a feeling that’ll happen

The other explanation could be a rival planted the weights. But that is about as likely as flying monkeys too. Especially as the guy caught looks like an empty sociopath and you could tell he knew when he was caught. If I was innocent I'd be more pissed than the fellow fishers.

Walleyes feed on McDonald's Filet-O-Fish with a side order of weights seriously the walleyes were working out packing up their muscles. Walleyes were taking to them "Were here to Pump you Up"

They didn’t even stand up or try to defend themselves, the body language in defense was the icing on the cake, he knew they cheated lol and been doing it for a while

Uuh, I meannnn... I suppose that could be possible, but it was wayyy to late for them to defend themselves with that excuse the moment they were first caught and confronted. They IMMEDIATELY had that "oh sh!t" guilty look on their faces which was a dead give away and never even denied the accusations. Which, as retarded as they were for doing that, you have to give them at least the tiniest bit of respect for not making any excuses, not lying and never denied what they did after they got caught. They pretty much knew they were caught, they man'd up and accepted the crowds verbal harassment and never argued back and then once it got into court, they just accepted they f'd up and straight up plead guilty. They didn't plead "no contest" or "not guilty" like you're really supposed to do during your arrangement, they just accepted it and plead guilty and are dealing with their punishment. Whatever they were sentenced to do..

I’ve seen all the videos and people are yelling to arrest runyan. In my personal opinion can’t arrest them for theft of winnings from previous tournaments. Only thing he’s now facing is charges from the state game and banishment from any tournament’s.
