Electric chainsaw charging time:3-6< hour Gas chainsaw .."charging" time: 1-5 seconds Starting the chainsaw(electric): 3< seconds Starting the chainsaw(gas) 3< minutes.. Which is faster?.. gas
I like the electric one more than the gas its only 1 second different but the noise is a big different also it takes more time to start it so electric win.
Honestly? With the hassle of buying both gas and oil, then mixing it for such limited usage, I'd go electric. Especially if I were working on small jobs or close to home. DeWalt over Greenworks for sure though, simply because of the versatility.
Electric ones probably better choise for casual wood cutting. if you are going to use chainsaw for more than 3-5h a day, gasoline saw much better. and it would be nice to see how electric chainsaw cuts FRESH trees from the forest.
Why are you testing big chainsaw and cutting through really small pieces of wood. You should see if they have enough torque to get through the big piece as they are intended to do
You should never have to push hard on a chainsaw, there's a good chance the bar will bang into a part of you when it gets through the wood. A sharp saw is a safer saw.
IDK, comparing gas to electric seems like comparing grapes to plumbs. However, that being said, you also have to include time starting the gas saw. Even if it cut the log in 5 seconds, it took a minute to start. Also, that battery will work with other Greenworks power equipment someone might have like a lawnmower.
I just got the Milwaukee chainsaw. Best chainsaw made for the price, they compared 4 brands on UA-cam including the gas professional ones and it holds its own.
I saw how they cut. But how heavy are they? Something to consider when your trudging through the snow. Also, the elecric saw is easier if you have to set the saw down in between cuts.
Be terrified in mine then. I have a bunch of saws and one of them is a Stihl 066 Magnum that has a 36 inch bar on it. I think it weighs around 20lb with the bar and chain and is in the 90cc range.
Dolmar makes some pretty good chainsaws, especially the ones that are made in Germany. My pop’s got a small one he cuts trees with every now and then for fire wood and it does fine. Starts every time too.
You need the NEW MIlwaukee fuel chainsaw.. the Milwaukee is an 18 volt, 12.0 amp hour battery - and the saw is rated as a professional saw instead of consumer like the dewalts.
People need to do how much wood can they cut before you need to recharge it because thats the main problem with electric. With gasoline if you run out of gas then you just put more in and keep going.
If you're going to be fair, in determining which is faster, you really need to include the time it takes to start the gas chainsaw before you can make the cut, and I think if you include starting time the electric is much faster.

If you are going nonstop go gas. If you are stopping and going than go electric. Gas chainsaw require a hot carburetor to run well. Or they are hard to stay running or to start
Who watches for the fun of it and doesn't even have a chainsaw
Ibbo Beast And never will lol
I bet 90% of the people watching
Ibbo Beast You caught me out!! 😂😈🙈😱🔥🔥🔥 xxx
Will do some day
Hahahhaha
blow out the carb on your stihl with air compressor it will run better and start easier.
and maby cleen spark plug or replace
Masz racje , Taras głowa kapusta szkoda nie umieć naprawić stihl środku gaźnik brudni trzeba czyszczenie i regulacje będzie lepszy Stihl

The Stihl was slowest because its takes time to get it going.
You have to get it going once and then it will last you longer than the electric one
It was the fastest overall and would be even faster if the log holder was more stable.
The Charge time?
Electric chainsaw charging time:3-6< hour
Gas chainsaw .."charging" time:
1-5 seconds
Starting the chainsaw(electric):
3< seconds
Starting the chainsaw(gas)
3< minutes..
Which is faster?.. gas
yeah but which one is more expensive to "charge"? gas or electric? you gotta buy gas from the gas station... electric? just get from your own home.
Be very safe. Wear shorts when running chainsaws.
safety no.1 priority
Hahaha! I know right! I wasn’t a big fan of that teeter totter of a stump holder!
Chainsaw is the no.1 priority
Lol
And angle the saw down towards your leg.
Hes got 0 clue how to use both
A rookie. 😂
Why do I feel like you were purposefully trying to make the Gas chainsaw go slower
He doesn't know what he's doing
And he didnt clean his Chainsaw the last time it was very dirty
hes a greenhorn sawsmen :)
He is pushing down to hard and bogging it down and he runs his chains to tight imo
That's what he doing watch the gas chainsaw properly and you well see the chain is on backwards
Before testing Chainsaws, you should learn how to use them correctly.
When youre russian safety doesnt matter

@ true, but you can buy some extra batteries so it will last you longer
Just buy pre mixed gas, and you still need chain oil in both.

He almost never uses chainsaw at the base of the blade. He starts a cut with the center and waits for either the log or his saw to yank together.
M.
Given how long it took you to get the gas powered saw started, the electric was faster each time.
Try timing how long it takes to re fuel the battery saw
......
eletric chain saw wins because the gas one takes longer to start and more convenient👍
Gas one only takes longer to start because it hasn't been maintained
If you know how to maintain your equipment along with tune it, starting them is effortless

I have a Stihl MS 251 CBE it has a 18 inch blade with easy start and quick chain release, just like the DeWalt. I love it !

Gas for sure, none of that electric junk.
@Harry M yeah but it takes a long lime charging the electric saw
@Harry M each to their own opinions.
@Harry M and if you have a good chain saw a couple of pulls and it going.
@Harry M It should start on the first or second pull.
@Harry M you must be joking... how about the time needed for charging accus for the electric ones???
get the gas saw serviced and it will be running great.
You should never have to push hard on a chainsaw, there's a good chance the bar will bang into a part of you when it gets through the wood. A sharp saw is a safer saw.
I’m mad this doesn’t have at least 20000 views and likes yet
My chainsaw starts on like the first pull every time...
Are all the chains freshly sharpened? That will make a huge difference in how fast they cut.

Ccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc

If you do a competition you should make sure they both have new chains.
getting stuck VS never getting stuck
You forget chain oil?
The Husqvarna that was "beat" by the Dewalt had a dull chain, as opposed to a brand new one and Taras didn't apply any pressure to it.
Look at the background in the beginning, you can tell why he wants all of these chainsaws
YOOOOOOOOOOO

Stilh chainsaws are best chainsaws in world
dolmar im afraid
Zvonko Zahorjanski if you know how to use a chainsaw correctly
I agree I've 3 sthil and 2 huskys the sthil are my favourite
Kneecap: Greenworx: didn't get all through, because he released too fast. DeWalt: same thing. Stihl: - 0,5 seconds - yesss!!! x-D
Trying to start the stihl with the opposite hand. “So hard to start” lol
he is left handed
You put it one the ground and put your foot in the handle then you can use any hand or drop start but he would cut his legs off
Greenworks 18" chainsaw has been manufactured for over 3 years.
That chainsaw chain is way to tight
Does the chain constantly get loose like most of the cheap electric chain saw?
Boom! Safety is priority #1! Love it!
- Doesn't wear chainsaw chaps.
I have the 40v green works 16" chainsaw. I put an 18" blade on it. Also, the 40v version doesn't need tools to tighten the blade.
I saw how they cut. But how heavy are they? Something to consider when your trudging through the snow. Also, the elecric saw is easier if you have to set the saw down in between cuts.
STIHL IS BEST
Depends on where it is made since many of the Stihl consumer saws are made in China.
Husqvarna is much better
_Miihkali _ stihl is a lot better
1.5 year warranty on a Stihl vs 5 years on the husky
Him ‘you know what, the chain is kinda loose’
Chain tightness looks perfect 🤦
He loves a Gus chainsaw 😂😂
greenworks 80v, snapper 82v and kobalt 80v all have a 18 inch bar option
I am imagining a couple out and about, lost, when they come upon Taras' shed. They go in and see all the chainsaws.
Be terrified in mine then. I have a bunch of saws and one of them is a Stihl 066 Magnum that has a 36 inch bar on it. I think it weighs around 20lb with the bar and chain and is in the 90cc range.
For the diy-Er would two more inches make that big a difference?
Do you have Makita or Ryobi electric saws please test those.
Dolmar makes some pretty good chainsaws, especially the ones that are made in Germany. My pop’s got a small one he cuts trees with every now and then for fire wood and it does fine. Starts every time too.
Aww yawn this isn’t my thing but I’m here to support your program! I missed the dogs!
My girlfriend says she'd like 2 more inches too.
Taras also knows what else is 18 inches ;D
Yo ******? Eyyy
Put a real chain on the Husqvarna and throw out that junk self sharpening chain.
It’s a Stihl.

Try switching the blades between all the chainsaws if it fits. in sweden you can just but on a bigger / smaller blade and thicker / thinner.
Hi Taras Kul, thak you so much for your tests. Have a nice day.
Is the clutch going in your stihl? That would explain it stalling when you put too much pressure
What are you on
If you didn’t move it it wo uld be faster
drujbe. de vanzare
well these guys keep on giving these serial killers much more easy weapon to use
electric for the limbs, gas for the trunk 2x happy
By the time you got the gas chain saw started the electric chain saws we're already done cutting.
18" saw, cuts 6" wood. lol

This guy is the reason for half of the deforestation
Very good test my friend . But you must make one final test with your Dewalt and new Milwaukee 18 V battery chainsaw
Pffftt.... I put a 20" Oregon bar on my 60v DeWalt chainsaw.... Works great!
The greenworks has a low kickback chain.
Turn on CC to make his videos more entertaining.
You need the NEW MIlwaukee fuel chainsaw.. the Milwaukee is an 18 volt, 12.0 amp hour battery - and the saw is rated as a professional saw instead of consumer like the dewalts.
When a Dewalt took looks at a Milwaukee tool, it starts smoking.
very good .... 👍

Gas is the way to go

I've gotten other green works products that I liked
You forget to test Milwaukee 18V chainsaw
The Dewalt "beat" the Husqvarna with a dull chain that was on too tight.
Why is everyone calling it a husqvarna.. its a stihl...
Making this comparison with the world’s most bogged down stihl chainsaw
If you're going to be fair, in determining which is faster, you really need to include the time it takes to start the gas chainsaw before you can make the cut, and I think if you include starting time the electric is much faster.
Clean the caboretor on the gas chainsaw, and empty and put fresh gas in.
Taras Kul is also CrazyRussianHacker
the dewalt has a brushless motor but the greenworks has a brushed motor
(brushless is faster and stronger than brushed motors)
and also more expensive
But the bar attachment on the DeWalt is garbage.
You should also count the time starting the beast :D
Its only electric if it has a cord its battery powered if it has a battery thanks for a GREAT video
The electric was faster because it took you 20 seconds just to start the gas chainsaw. Plus the time to cut the board.
How long does the battery last compared to a tank of gas ?
Clearly it was a video bought by brands of electric saws ... stihl wins every time!

If you are going nonstop go gas. If you are stopping and going than go electric. Gas chainsaw require a hot carburetor to run well. Or they are hard to stay running or to start
It would really help if your stand wasn’t so rickety.
Every time you touched the blade the stand and log would shift and stick.
My chin can saw those chinsaws 😂
You should calculate time from "I want to saw something" to "its done" , Electric will always win.
And at the time spend charging!
Got here from Khabib interview.
Hi taras you are my favourite UA-camr i love your videos love from Pakistan
Will it cut through a wood or pvc door tho?
U save the time lost in cutting speed compared to how long it taakes to start the gas chainsaw =D i would go with the electric
The DeWalt for me. 👍
Which is better gas chainsaw or electric chainsaw?? I picked gas chainsaw
"I'm happy with this, nah kinda too tight"
Try a Milwaukee chainsaw
Disengage chain brake before starting of chainsaw. Just point bar in safe direction, get firm grip and then start the saw.
Can it cut my depression ?
good one
Idk
Well this took a dark turn
Yup
