Eve Energy Plug Out of the Box MATTER - Setup via Google Home & Review

The Eve Energy MATTER Plug is now available in the UK, Here i go through the Setup suing Google Home & then linking to Smarthings, Alexa & Home Assistant.

Thanks for showing us the setup process from Google Home to Home Assistant. I've been searching for ages for a video that explains how to do it. I'm trying to find a way of adding Thread and ZigBee devices to HA without adding a new device (coordinator). I have a Hue Hub which I think I can add ZigBee devices to and then push them to HA ?

I am already using Google Home app with my thermostat and doorbell cam without nest hub would I be forced to buy one just to use these plugs?

You will need a Matter Thread border router in your home to setup the eve matter plug, ie one from Google, Amazon or apple or another supplier. For Google that's Nest WiFi or the nest Hub gen 2, I believe the new Chromecast that's just announced is also a matter thread border router.

I checked,
There is a bug in Alexa.
It can only detect the first endpoint of a Matter device that has multiple endpoints.
For example, if a wall-mounted switch contains three switches, Alexa only adds the first switch.
Please check this in your Google Home . .
