Just watched your latest Leeds Christmas walk, excellent. Great to see you back in my home City of Bradford, there was more shoppers out last Sunday when I was Christmas shopping in the Forster Square retail park and Broadway shopping centre, both were busy. Your walks are very informative showing people different town and city centres. Thanks for this very good upload.
I like Bradford 💞💞, we visited and had nice days in September this Year.We have been in the great concert with Chris 😘Norman 🎵🎶🎸🎵🎸🎸 in St Georges Hall BIRGIT AND JUTTA from Germany
Struck by its sheer vastness. I live in Ipswich,Suffolk where everything is far more compact. Some nice old buildings. Christmas lights in daylight are always disappointing. Certainly not gripped by the Christmas rush yet! Thank you for allowing us to visit so many places from the comfort of our own homes. Nothing much here to commend it to tourists, think I will give it a miss.
Except for Haworth, Ilkley, amazing hikes, national museums, Saltaire world heritage village, David Hockney museum, etc. There's loads of reasons to come to Bradford.
A fact for ya, on Tyrrel St the large shop on your right (gold connection) used to be the site of Fattorinis Jewellers. The jeweler that fashioned the F.A. Cup trophy in 1911!
If you visit again you should give Saltaire, North Parade, Little Germany and Sunbridgewells a visit. Some top architecture in all except Sunbridgewells which is subterranean and is a living museum. 🎄☃⛄❄
The brutalist architecture slapped in between many of the older buildings completely kills the aesthetic for me - in fact most of the modern buildings in this city are even worse than the usual dreary standard in my opinion. Thanks for the video nonetheless.
Bradford’s been dying since the wool industry collapsed after World War Two. It was still impressive sixty years ago as the Victorian buildings were still there but even if they hadn’t been demolished by corrupt developers and officials in the sixties they wouldn’t be like Leeds’s Victoria Quarter because there isn’t the money to support shops like that. Poor Bradford has been blighted by corruption, lack of foresight, and dreadful transport planning for generations.
Many memories of being sexually harrased walking around here from ages 14+ espically when I worked in the city centre aged 17 when I went out for a lunch break. I have a lot of family history in the Bradford area but am sad to say I don't enjoy visting here. It has such a hopeless feel about it and I have lots of experiences of not feeling safe walking around espically later on.
Another great & fantastic video of BRADFORD City Centre at Christmas time!.❤❤🧡🧡💛💛💚💚

Glad you made it out alive 👍
🤣
It’s not actually that dangerous I’m 20 and no one’s ever robbed my house but I barley seen a robber rob a shop
Christmas in Bradford was spectacular during the early to mid 80s
If you visit again you should give Saltaire, North Parade, Little Germany and Sunbridgewells a visit. Some top architecture in all except Sunbridgewells which is subterranean and is a living museum. 🎄☃⛄❄
Thanks for this. Bradford has gone straight on my cities to avoid list.
Fair play Robert 🤣
I live in Bradford and I try to avoid the dump.
The song is "God Bless
You Merry Gentlemen"
Living in Bradford I see it differently to visitors!
I used to live in Bradford up until 2006 before moving to Florida. It's not gotten any quieter! 😉
ha ha so true
Not a busy town not much Christmas stuff round or Christmas markets and all the shops everywhere and a nice day out and did you get your hot drink
I did!
I always reward myself with a hot chocolate or coffee after a walk if I can find somewhere nice to get one!
Have a lovely week Elaine!❤️
Bradford is a city full of beautiful buildings and criminal activities. From a Braduate.

Go to Saltaire
It’s a world heritage site near Bradford
Yes I think that looks like a perfect destination - thank you will do!
It's not near Bradford, it is a suburb of Bradford.
Looks nice, shame about the noisy school kids!
Ah but sometimes you can't beat the chatter and excitement of kids having fun in the city
I had to leave my car at a garage in Bradford and kill 3 hours waiting for it, god that was a long three hours
You don't like walking, shops, pubs, restaurants, cinemas, bowling alleys, ice rinks, or museums? The problem was not Bradford, it was you.
One city I have not visited
What a dump, glad I escaped this dangerous hole years ago
😮😮😮😮

Oh no. I'm really really sorry to hear that
Nobody should experience that at all
