November 9th, 2017 -- Since so many subscribers asked for it, for my 144th outing of this year, I finally decided to explore Lake Galena and the North Branch Neshaminy Creek (around Peace Valley Reservoir).
The original plan was to hit the spillway first, and then explore and fish the main Lake. However, the spillway & Creek were so productive that we didn't even have the time to explore the rest! Heh.

I live 10minutes from lake galena. There are tons of white perch in the lake. Some get huge. My son caught one that was almost 15”. It’s a tiny lake and can be very very tough to fish. Pretty cool Leo!!

hey helo i love fishing spillways too, my favourite one is a public spot but no one goes there but above it is stocked with lots of fish so in heavy rain the stocked fish are forced into the public spot :)

There are some Largemouths closers to the spillway, but the further you go down the creek the more Smallies you'll find. This is my usual fishing spot, there a few times a month. Can get some decent smallies there.
Leo i dont live in america but i fish in the uk but i find your videos very intresting to watch . In the uk we catch carp , roach , tench ,rudd, perch , bream and trout . All of them are we catch on maggots or worms

I grew up fishing that creek further down, smallmouth, largemouth, rock bass, bluegill, green sunfish, pumpkinseed, redbreast sunfish, carp, bullhead catfish. There are no perch in most of Neshaminy Creek, nor crappie (people confuse rock bass for crappie often).
That was a killer fishing trip please fish there again.

when i do trout & crappie fishing, i always use very small lite little tackle jigs. like seriously, i do and here's what i use. a 1/32oz. fish hawk wahoo popeye feather jigs, a 1/32oz. northland fishing tackle mimic minnow Fry's, and a 1/64 oz. trout magnets. even though they are small & lite, they do have great colors + great action too.

This was my favorite place to fish as a kid. I must have stood on that rock for months. I always did well with a 1/8 Oz jig head and yelllw or white small grub from Woolworth (long gone now). I even caught a few walleye there back in the 80s. The fish stack up along that wall and sometimes in the center. The pools are ok too but don’t fish there for long or you will spook them all. You can set up another rod for catfish just outside the pool. Lots of bullheads. Maybe use a bobber to keep it off the rocks.

And I'll keep on sayin' it, but get yourself up to the Pine Tree State aka Maine. Landlocked Atlantic Salmon (Salmo Salar Sebago), the best native Brook Trout fishing in the country, and the only place to find native populations of landlocked Arctic Char (Blueback & Sunapee Trout).
I love your fishing videos man. So much knowledge and great tips with multispecies. I gotta try some of the lures you use down here in Alabama. My fish seem kinda picky in these waters.
