I went fishing today too! I was getting lazy and then saw your Dad get up and do his thing and I was inspired. I caught 2 decent size largies! One of them was the first time I caught anything on top water and it was epic. It was on a whopper plopper. Then my second one was on a 4 inch weightless texas rig yum worm. Dropped it right into a bed of a sleeping bass mom and she got pissed and bit it right away. Tight lines EPF!
Hey, Leo, can you try to fish the Delaware River by the Bristol wharf? I used to fish there and knew nothing about fishing back then but I moved and never really knew what fish were in there.
Went out, bought a baitcaster, went for some smallmouth with a crankbait and only caught a yellow perch, ON THE MOUTH it hit while lure was paused, crankbait was half the size of the perch XD angry little bugger
Those trout were absolutely beautiful. The coloring and markings just look amazing. And even though the smallies weren't giant they're still fun to catch. I'm surprised you got that many fish on such a bright day with water that clear. You killed it out there.

Summer trout fishing is never easy glad you were able to find some for the parents bet they loved they.. I e never seen a tiger trout those things are so beautiful

Nice tiger! With the holdover trout, I have seen for myself that they have nicer-looking flesh to eat when they are holdovers, but do they have higher concentrations of pollutants like mercury as they stay in the creek for longer?

I've always caught them fishing below different lakes spillways. in the current on little 1/16 oz jigs and 2 inch soft plastics..
