This is how the get the short sighted fans who know nothing about the sport to think that at that particular time of the fight their guy is doing all the work. This is what's going to kill boxing, start calling the fights correctly, Canelo did win this fight but you must call a fight in a fair manner without the intention to deceive. Boxing today has become a circus.
I can't tell why Canelo is ducking GGG n prefering to fight bums. I mean, he's very good n i see him posing problems to GGG. i really wish Canelo fought Cotto in his prime. Its really saddening to watch old fighters fight younger ones and people see them as equals.
Canelo is just now getting in his prime
It was impressive by Cotto. He just couldn't hurt him. He took almost every punch from him.
Canelo was 25 years old here. How is canelo going to fight cotto in his prime
12 rounds, clean face... incredible how this mexican boxes.
dos grandel maestros del boxeo. quedara el la historia por siempre.
HBO production is still the best production wise.
Puro puerto rico . Y mexico. Soy mexicano
Canelo always fights older more experienced fighters because Canelo will beat up anybody his age easily.
Cristiano Fernandez He's scared to fight young lions only fights old washed fighters 😂😂😂
@@unbiasedboxingexpert9910 stfu what about Jacobs dumbass
Unbiased Boxing Expert Lara, Trout, Jacobs, and yes even both Mayweather & GGG were undefeated at the time he fought both.
Cotto was only 34 years old here wtf are you talking about?
Unbiased Boxing Expert canelo is pretty good he can fight but you gotta admit cotto is way past his prime in this lmao
This was a boxing fight 😊
great fight. This is a good example of two really good fighters. The combinations that they did are not easy ones, great uppercuts and amazing hooks from both fighters. The difference was in the power of the punches but great fight
That post-fight interview was absolutely excellent.
Cotto's chin is amazing..
Took some very solid shots indeed - 4 years later 😌
2:07 / 2:13 Partisan commentating, the reason to why when watching a fight I turn the audio off, after Canelo reaches Cotto with a long jab the commentator says "good jab by Canelo" right after that Cotto reaches Canelo with a much stiffer jab and there's an absolute silence.
Es.
100% and still stands
I wanna get in the ring with Cotto's wife
I can't tell why Canelo is ducking GGG n prefering to fight bums. I mean, he's very good n i see him posing problems to GGG. I guess he feels he would not be able to outpunch GGG not to talk of matching GGG's stamina, or, that Swarmer>boxer logic i don't know, but that fight must happen sooner rather than later. Fighters shouldn't be allowed to duck as they see fit. We want a tornament where all he top guns fight each other so we can see the best, all this ducking rubbish is not good for thr sport.
The Hottest Guy cotto is not a bum bro come on... respect good fighters
that's messed up why would you punch a girl? *sarcasm
Cochino!!
fuk u
Miguel cotton One of the greatest boxes. A Warrior.
Mexico 🇲🇽 vs Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 great fights love boxing 🥊 🥊🥊🥊🇲🇽🇵🇷 la gran rivalidad del boxeo
I felt Alvarez edged it but the scorecards were absolutely disgusting.
Canelo's style is soooo beautiful
He stole a lot of his new defense from Floyd
When cottos trainer said keep backing this guy up i laughed so hard fym backed up😂cotto gettin hit everywhere
Cotto is a Legend!
✊️love you CANELO ❤❤❣️❣️❣️❣️🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
canelos hand speed gets underrated. looked sharp as hell in his last couple of fights
I remember this fight was the first time when I did PPV and I was alone in my house so after the end I was jumping everywhere !!!!!!!
DAAAMN! Miguel is warrior!
This fight must be watched 2-3 times without replays, no sound, and without bias of the coments. It might change fans perspective.
Love the quemistry within these 3 commentators. Love roy jones jim lampley and max kellerman, they all have lots of knowledge about boxing and enjoy it very much.
La era del Canelo...y renuncia al título mundial
this fight was awesome. compared to clinch fest from ward vs kovalev.
hearing freddie roach talk is a blaring warning about taking head damage. wow that's scary. sounds like me after closing down my local pub on a saturday night.
Freddy roach have Parkinson bad hit
quality from both, great foot work, they boxed real well!!!
Gracias HBO Bixing🌷☺
cotto fought a great fight here
Watching this fight years later I didn’t realize how many good moments Cotto had
lot closer than what we saw back then.
Cotto is one tough SOB. He was getting hit with bombs and he still kept coming. This was one of Canelos best fights. He had it all this night and on top of that he was oozing confidence. One of his prime fights no doubt.
Just a great fight by 2 great fighters..Nothing more nothing less😎
Whoever says Cotto won are on some serious shit. I wanna know what it is cause I want some xD
+Daniel Lopez Azteca TV had Cotto 117-111
+Tim P4P Thats the only media outlet that had cotto winning. everyone else had canelo.
it was a close fight but i give it to cotto because canelo didnt do enough and wasnt impressive to me. he should of knocked out cotto he was like two weight classes above him. cotto.
Fernando Velazquez exactly
+Tim P4P and the whole world had Pacquiao vs Bradley 1 a domination by Pac. You are always taking credit off Canelo. You keep bring up Azteca tv, is that cuz you think Cotto won? You no nothing of boxing. The people who actually know boxing like Bernard Hopkins, Teddy Atlas know that Canelo won.
