Thanks, Joe! Got it done! It might help others to know that I needed to use two hands to get the torque needed to turn the bulb housing counterclockwise. There is just enough room!
Joe, thank you for the tip...I was half way there..I saw the access panels, removed them but only saw the White Plug-ins...from my angle I didn't see the Orange Plug-in. I have the same left side bulb to replace that you did and now I'm prepared to do so....I think I may need to remove that item in front as well. Thank you very much. Back in the day I would never attempt any repair myself as minor as they are...but for what a gas station or dealership would charge is ridiculous for something so small....for a two pack of bulbs at $6.99 and a few minutes its worth a little sweat equity you made it a lot easier..thank you.
@@JoesCarSmartsNY for sure...can you imagine what a car would cost if we bought it piece meal based on repair prices..yikes, tge bulb is changed and im back in business ..Happy Thanksgiving.....
Heads up to anyone attempting to replace the bulb. All parts place have the listed bulb replacement as a 7507, not the 2357. However, when I replaced mine, there was a 2357 installed. Not sure what to make of it, either way i used a 2357 as a replacement
Hey Joe can I use the same bulbs as the rear turn signals? I want to put in some amber LEDs and was wondering if I could get a pack of 4 1156 style LED bulbs. Thanks in advance!
It is impossible to do this for the driver front turn signal and I don’t want to break anything…Thanks for getting me close though…Dealership here I come but I already bought the light..
I see why you didn't show the exact removal of the bulb and the harness. Because the hole they give you is far too small you need extremely thin hands to remove it.
Sometimes I can get things like this done when I switch to the other hand. Sometimes it has more to do with how your right hand flexes vs the left hand.
Thank you. It’s always a great feeling to fix something yourself

Thanks Joe You helped me about a year ago to change my blinker and you just help me again today.
Thank you! I would not have found the housing for this annoying little bulb without your video.
By the way - it was the same on my 2017 Niro.

So glad this helped you! Some of these small projects can really save a lot of money over time.

I just ran into the same issue. Wish I would have seen your comment earlier. Would have saved a trip to the auto store.
Thanks! This is an excellent explanation

These are 2357 bulbs on the front. 1156 Bulbs are not compatible to substitute for the 2357.

I tried. It wouldn’t budge and I busted a tab. Now it be more $ I’m sure. Ugh.
@@Pdubbcooking sorry buddy, wish you saw my reply before you did that, I eventually went to the dealer and paid $50 but it works now.
Thanks you
What is the bulb type and number that I need to buy to replace it please ?
Please see 2:30 in the video
@@JoesCarSmartsNY i tried but i couldn’t see clear enough but I found out when I removed mine :)
@@matthieudugas2652 I mentioned the bulb number when I was speaking. Glad you got it done. Thanks for your feedback.
The video says 2357. At the store I see a 2357A. Will that work?
What do I do if the bulb gets stuck in the housing?
I believe his bulb has to be twisted to remove it. If it won’t twist or is stuck, try spraying some penetrant oil in there.
I see why you didn't show the exact removal of the bulb and the harness. Because the hole they give you is far too small you need extremely thin hands to remove it.
I showed the best I could. It’s a small space so I can’t fit my hand and a camera lens at the same time.
I can not fit my hand in there for the life of me. Hour trying to turn it with one finger ain't working. Might have to throw in the towel on this one
