Your new birds look great bro. Am a big fan of the jet black if I were to raise anything separate from white. Am how that full white roller performs. They look so ready to go on that Toss, beautiful environment you got there for that Toss.
Good question, you keep them in a cage outside the loft with access to the trap if they ever plan on coming in to get something to eat or roost, they will have to jump through the wires. You just let hunger in time do the work and repeat the process every day until they come through without any hesitation.

I did not see them do any acrobatic things in the air. and why do you say they are done eating when they are scrambling and eating every single grain in the bin and looking for more. is this what you do to make them return quickly into the lofts. THE PIGEONS FLYING WERE ROLLERS AND THEY WERE VERY YOUNG SO NOT TO MUCH ROLLING YET. I DO NEED THE PIGEONS TO ENTER THE LOFT QUICKLY AFTER LANDING SO THEY WON'T BE EASY TARGETS FOR THE HAWKS.
