Some people think baseball is a dying sport but with content like this which is a mix of behind the scenes and tips and tricks to improve your life it might reinvigorate peoples love in baseball like it did for me
Staying healthy during the regular season is insane. Take care of the body day in day out. Not easy but with a staff like this big difference and it begins in the off season.
Drew Robinson. He was a Giants prospect that survived serious mental health issues that cost him hs baseball future, but he overcame them and is now the Mental Health Advocate in the video for new players.@@LaMonteWade31
lol, an article about Cal Ripken Jr. Dude just played basketball, lifted a few weights and ate Mom's food. _Cal said, "We didn't have all the different nutritional information and didn't have all the resources but you knew that you had to work out and build your body up to withstand the 162-game season. I did it in a very aggressive sort of way. I played basketball as part of my fun and explosive sort of activities. I started learning to lift weights and do that on my own. I built a gym in my house so I could do all those things. The diet is just common sense and regular eating with the basic 4 food groups that my mom gave me when I left the house. A lot of common sense and a good healing power, I think."_
Padres fan here but this video popped up for me. Have seen a few videos similar to this from the Giants. I believe it was an IF training video. Great work! Thank you for sharing!
A lot of the static stretching and unloaded movements they were doing seem pointless unless they have specific injuries they are trying to deal with, which I'm assuming not all of them do (otherwise that is a seriously compromised and fucked up team). Most of the actual strength, sprinting, and baseball practice parts seemed good. A bit of jogging is fine, but baseball seems like a sport to focus on sprinting, agility and explosive rotational power. Any work with the medicine ball that is not done with maximum effort is pointless for them. Overall, very confusing and probably less effective than it could be.
Looks like alot of fluff and over analyzing. Mediocre franchise, mediocre record, mediocre players. This is looking like the blueprint on what not to do.

Baseball's decline is a myth. Baseball made 11.4 Billion dollars last year. The interest is still strong

Great piece. I hope they pay attention to the hamstring injuries we had last season.

It’s crazy where strength and conditioning has come from where it used to be (lift, rest, ice, and repeat)
This is so awesome! Where can we get a Dominate T-Shirt?
This is great to see. I hope that it pays dividends on the field this year! Thanks for sharing this with us all.

Well, that’s probably why they won so many playoff games last year.
Get Madison Bumgarner on your team!
Giants
Better train up the players you have since your city is a zombie apocalypse and no free agents will go there.

I wonder if Willie Mays ever needed fitness gurus to stay on the field.
Right because no other players got injured in the 1950s, lol
@@BrofUJu 💯 lol just rubbed some dirt on, swig of Jack and hit the diamond the next day lol

Develop what players exactly? Patrick Bailey? 🙄

thanks for showing us how the giants continuously suck balls

can we please get some free agents? Or are you too cheap? or is it the dirty city? if its the latter than move out of sf and go to sj
LA has over twice as many homeless; even NY has more than here. Stop consuming bipartisan politics.
As if San Jose is any better lol. They also got Jung Hoo Lee which is a start
All of this bullshit doesn’t matter. All you needs is linear progression on sets of faaahhhvvvv according to Coach Rip
