It's okay that you can't get a new Chanel bag yet. I can't either. This is why I enjoy your videos. You are still down to earth. Some of the ladies that I have watched over the years who are now very successful can walk into a Paris Hermes shop and leave with a Kelly or a Birkin. I can't relate to them any more. So on with the op shops and the thrill of the hunt. BTW, your young man is gorgeous. Kudos on you, mom for raising a very handsome young man.
I hear you and I appreciate that so much 🙏 I often wonder if my sensibilities as a shopper would change if I became successful and could afford luxury items. I'm not somebody who follows what the masses are doing. I'm not interested in a Hermes Kelly or Birkin. Even though Jane Birkin is one of my style icons! I'm too sensible to spend what is essentially a down payment on a house - on a frickin bag! But the truth is money changes people. Success changes people. Of course, I'd be more relaxed about money and treat myself and my loved ones to things I can't afford now. But I would still shop sales. Buy preloved luxury items. And thrift. Because my feet are firmly planted in the earth, and I know material things don't really make you happy. Whether it's a bag, or a pair of shoes, it's always so much more appealing before it's yours. Once you own it, it loses it's appeal and you're on to the next thing. You see so much of it on social media and I cannot relate either 🤷♀️ And thank you so much ❤️ My son is my greatest accomplishement!
I liked the white skirt, very edgy especially paired with leather jacket. Too bad they didn’t work. Love those check shorts too!! Looked like a nice trip!!!!
