Hey guys if you get a comment from “me” asking for personal info or saying you win something ignore it it’s not me I don’t ask for personal info like that it’s a scammer!
Do you two ever argue? It seems like you never have harsh words in your videos. That's not human. Your Dad seems like he has the patience of Job. He has done a great job of transferring his knowledge to you. It's really fun to watch you guys work.
This is one of the BEST video illustrations of how to replace/build vehicle floors! You three (yes, Supervisor Boo, too!) show the true VALUE of having the BEST LIGHTING! It's so boring to watch other folks monkeying around with floors....in near darkness! That Arizona sun is your friend in the lighting department. I was transfixed to watch you all. It was PLAIN AS DAY to see what you were doing and see how your were thinking and planning as you went along! Simply outstanding video! Aloha!
HI RICK DAD,, AND TRAVIS,, GREAT TO SEE ANOTHER VIDEO!! MY SON MAX THOUGHT YOU GAVE UP ON THE VIDEO''S ,.. GLAD YOUR HERE FOR YOU AND US.. IT'S BEEN COLD....WOW! GREAT WELDING AND PLACING THE FLOORS,, MY WIFE LEAH IS SAYING GREAT TEAM WORK AND SHE DONT CARE FOR CAR CHANNELS BUT THIS CHANNEL IS A LIKING!! SAVING A LOT OF MONEY ,, MAX SAYS HI BOO.. GREAT VIDEO!! SEND MORE SOON...
Good to see ya working back on the 60 , you and your Dad are doing a excellent job on the Floor Pans, the bead roller makes the steel look like Factory, keep up the amazing work Travis, you and your dad are a amazing team.
Precision, patience and perseverance but you got there working as a team. True craftsmen..love watching these videos. Yes, many died building the Hoover Dam and as your Dad says it would never happen again bcos the Unions wouldn't let it! 🙏🏼😊👍
I can’t stop watching the El Camino build. Seriously, love watching. One thing that would help me in the future is to put the episode number in the title. I’ve been using the dates to figure out which one was next. Not totally successful and took a good effort to get the order correct. Still it’s been worth the effort. Thanks guys!
Travis, you guys are amazing to watch! How many vehicles I have had through the years that were destroyed like the ones I'm watching on you tube! You make it look easy, although I know it is far from that! Ah, the wonders of time lapse photography! Can't wait to see the finished product.
Love you guys tackling the problems together, you’re setting a good example for the rest of us. So many mechanics are completely self willed (and a lot have to be that way) but it’s refreshing to see team work 😌😀
As much as I enjoy watching the metalwork and creative problem-solving, I think I enjoy seeing you work with your dad. Very cool to see a father and son working on projects together.
It is a simple matter to subscribe, to "like" and make a comment or two. The entertainment value is it's own reward. It is also rewarding to see you working so closely with your dad! Thanks for the offer. Just keep the content coming! That's enough for me.👍
My first car was a 66 Mushstang coupe. The floor was solid except the drivers footwell. My dad welded a patch made out of an old stop sign in using a coat hanger for rod. Those were the days!
Well done on the job of explanation and repair. My dad had it 4 door belair 1960. You always did love that car and I asked him one day how a few years ago why you stopped driving it. He said he's afraid he's going to fall through floorboards!! He never did get around to fixing those floorboards. It still sits out by the barn because it had a brand new GM replacement windshield put in it that was New Old stock back in the 80s. . He had looked long and hard to find one and it seems to be easier to find replacement parts now that we have the internet. Well I like your fancy metal working tools. A large jaw vice grip rail section and a two-by-four. Years gone by we've been known to use two of those two-by-fours. Those rail sections of handy. Good see somebody using creativity.
Back in the 70s this what you did - minus the welding! Drilled a lot of holes and screwed it together. Worked though. I got a hardware store to bend sheet metal for me based on a paper pattern I gave them. Fit like a glove!
Great work guys! I particularly like the fact that you butt welded in the floor pans = no rust causing overlaps! And top marks for keeping the guard on the grinder and using PPE.
I used to love doing metal work when it came to fixing up old cars. Unfortounantly a accident when I was younger I lost all that memory on how to do it. I still try but my skills are not there anymore.
I think it's really nice to be able to work on the cars with your dad, your videos are really good and I watch them all. I hope you find the International door
WOW! oh, how good them floors look! you guys make a great team. love watching y'all work together. 😃 i think this truck is truly a treasure. please continue!
You guys patching the holes in your El Comino floor with stiff paper patterns hit close to home w/me. I used to build McKenzie Drift Boats & for some of the parts, I used paper patterns pretty close to what you did w/comino. Last boat I built for myself I figure I had at least 10,000 - 11,000 river miles on it, in Idaho--M FK Salmon, OR-- Rogue -Umpqua-Mckenzie--Willamette over ten years or so, At the end my guiding it wasn't as pretty as when new, But it was a very depenable friend, but its a little bruised up, hopeing for a little sanding stain with a couple three coats of Marine Spar Varnish. Thanks for video, you put on a good watch.
Another Great, Entertaining, and Instructive video. You made scratch replacement of floor pans look doable by most anyone. Thanks Guys.Keep the Videos coming.....I still have lots to learn.
I love what you are doing. I could honestly watch this all day. Of course the metal floor bought from the catalogue would be easier and more expensive, but all that fabricating skill would have gone to waste. You both rock on the cutting and welding the bends in the pans. We used to put in metal with self tappers and fibreglass/Bondo the seams and get away with it, but now they changed it to having to be welded in and all metal. NO SCREWS! You could try some of that rust restore stuff in those channels. It is an acid and turns rusty metal black, restoring it to some stronger metal again. Forget what it is called. Subscribed and ready for the next one.
Really enjoyed your method guys, i had to window repair my 74 caddy with crazy curves. i feel your pain. keep on doing what your doing. all the best from the UK

Thanks for Info
Experienced this. It's from these assholes running a scammer site called "Telegram."
They tried pulling some BS scam on VGG, Derek's channel as well.
The floor plans came out great. She is really coming along nicely.
Your dad’s voice sounds like Sam Elliot! I so much enjoy your videos. What a Blessing that you have each other to work so well with. 🙏
Funnily enough, I thought exactly the same thing about Rick's voice... Proper Sam Elliott!!
Agreed. Sometimes Rick throws in some Waylon Jennings.🙂
@@stephentaylor1131 With a bit of Waylon Jennings!
Nice job on the floors. Love watching you and your Dad work together. 👍
Thanks for watchin bill 👍🏻
Let me replicate your comment in much the same way
as these two fellers did those floor pans.
Dee Eye Tee-Tee Ohh, or Ditto
I am glad every time I see you and your father working this project together. I can only wish that I could be doing what you are doing with my father.
Yeah those times to come by too fast didn't they?
I was thinking the same thing. Wish I could have had that experience myself. Love this car/truck project.

You guys are Breathing life back into the Blue Dragon El Camino 💙 Awesome work 👏 on the New Floor Pans.
Good work, guys! I like the way you work-not relying on pre-manufactured floors. Looks like something I'd do.
Thank you yes we are always watching our pocket book
That new floor looks real good !
Precision, patience and perseverance but you got there working as a team. True craftsmen..love watching these videos.
Yes, many died building the Hoover Dam and as your Dad says it would never happen again bcos the Unions wouldn't let it! 🙏🏼😊👍
Those floors look very neat. 100$ and loads of Labor well spent.
I can’t stop watching the El Camino build. Seriously, love watching.

Nice job on the floors. Quite a project for sure. Love the old girl.
Really coming along nicely Dynamic Duo 😁👍👍👍👍
Great job guys ,looking forward to more
Looks great! Watching the el camino series instead of the superbowl. Much more entertaining!
Nice to see you fixed the floor the proper way, not by riveting old license plates like some UA-camrs seem to do...
Nice work, the fixed-up floors make it look like a project that's worth the effort to keep going on it. Looking forward to the next installment.
As much as I enjoy watching the metalwork and creative problem-solving, I think I enjoy seeing you work with your dad. Very cool to see a father and son working on projects together.

Yeah, just floors, but this was one of my favorite parts of this series. Fantastic result!
Thank you
Your explanation of making the corners that curve up is pretty good. Flat pattern layouts incorporate practical trigonometry
Excellent sheet metal work 👨🎓🐈🧤😌
Nice work on the floors and give your supervisor a treat from me 🇩🇰
