- Derby County Football Club win for the ninth time in a row at Pride Park Stadium after Kenzo Goudmijn scored his second goal of the campaign vs Cardiff City.
In a evenly contested game Cardiff City didn't create anything of real note. Derby County put in a good performance but a different type of game then the one vs Bristol City. Paul Warne will be worried about the injury to David Ozoh and will be having a laugh about Ebou Adams horrific miss at the end of the game.
All in all its 9 points in 5 games in the EFL Championship. We move onto Sheffield Untied!

I actually choked/chuckled a bit when Ebou missed the open net at the end then immediately started smiling since he played so well it can just be forgotten as it didn't affect the result.
I thought we played well today and we look solid defensively and some decent/neat moves going forward as well

great result, second half was like Middlesborough yeah I agree. Cardif were ok and some good players but obviously something troubling the players and thus affecting their performance. funny how management can make or break a team.

Bring in Phillips for Ozoh.
CBT picked up an injury during pre season which he’s now getting his minutes up again which is why he played for the 21s. He played and scored in a BCD friendly last week during the internationals.
I think itll be a move to a back 5 with Phillips coming in for Ozoh too if I’m honest.
Agreed. Great summary. Think Adam was actually knackered when he broke through but he will be gutted more so that it was against his old club. Good job it came in the last minute and did not cost us. Elder now showing what we got him for. Washington will never be fit for us to play and as for CBT a complete mystery to me. Think the Blades next week will give us a better idea of where we are at. Definitely give Phillips a chance as I do not think Osbourne is a holding payer.

Ozoh being injured leaves a gaping hole in midfield, hopefully Adams and co can fill it.
@@Lewis_Everett We ain't short on midfielders and it may mean we play further up which is one of my criticisms of how we set up.

Didn't see game as Warne did I thought they deserved a point . Unsure on Yates but he sure knows a flew flicks and tricks. Wins a win let's hope ozo not to bad but could be weeks at best or months at worst 🙏
I don’t necessarily think they did enough for a point. Had some good opening but nothing major.
I really like Yates, think he’s excellent during build up and when he needs to make things happen I think he’s show he can do so.
I think with Ozoh we won’t see him now until after the next international break.
