I love this game. As a kid it was a game I sunk way too much time into. People give it a bad wrap but honestly it doesn't feel like that far of a jump from World 3 if you think about it. Also everyone I've seen who hates this game tends to try and move on from the goblinmon way too early. Iunno, when I was struggling with the basic mobs my thought wasn't "oh I'll push past them and hopefully survive" it was "Oh these guys give items and exp? Okay I think I'm meant to grind and learn mechanics with these guys that the tutorial showed me and then move on once I'm comfy." It takes a while sure, but it's a fun game to just sit down and relax with the grind in.
On emulator I've gotten 2 more to level 999 (well, 997 and 950ish) and yeah, I just don't have that kind of motivation anymore to keep grinding up on this game.
@@haysen123 you can set up a turbo controller in the mummymon rooms and let the game play for days to level up. That's how I got digimon to level 999 without cheating. That aside, I do have a series of streams where I am manually leveling to 999 but I haven't streamed in awhile due to family stuff.

how many exp does it take to get from 998 to 999?
3,264,519 to be exact. Total exp from level 1 to reach level 999 is 3.12 billion exp. Half way to 999 is actually level 783
