The Pallet Village Model

More than half a million Americans experience homelessness on any given night. There isn’t enough affordable permanent housing and permanent housing takes years to build. In the meantime, our streets act as a waiting room for a long-term solution. Pallet is here to fill the gap.
The Pallet village model helps residents transition to permanent housing through access to dignified shelter with a locking door and on-site social services provided by a local provider. Residents also have access to food, showers, laundry, and more. It enables effective and consistent administration of services to transition out of homelessness and onto the next step. Everybody needs community, and together we’re taking one dignified step towards addressing the homelessness crisis.
