    When I when there two years ago, what shocked me was the number of vending machines, you can find groups of them almost every block, selling every type of drink from sodas to coffee to alcohol, The way malls are set up the type of arranged by floors, with the arcades and theaters at the top, the fact that you can walk around at 3:00 AM without worry, and of course the toilets.

    maybe a bit of a weird "shock" that I had there in Japan
    But the first two evenings, when it was dark already and walking through the small streets. It was weird to not feel like you had to look out that much. Like you felt much safer than in Germany in certain cities. But you get used to it fast and miss it all once you are back xD

    In Puerto Rico we have laws against walking around with visible alcohol beverages but people circumvent that by using water bottles and soda cans to conceal the products. These laws are more about appearance than anything else so I feel this is a good life hack people could use in the United States.

    Very incredible hi-quality video for an IPhone Cathy Kudos for it, I can't wait to see more videos like this one (@w@)
    And Yes the Fullerton guy is correct, here in the US most places would have the Cops Ticketing, Detaining and even arresting people for varying levels of Drunk & Disorderly charges here if they saw you walking down a public street and Chugging varying amounts of alcohol on a normal day to day basis...
    But there are exceptions to this tendency other then Vegas Strip... New Orleans during Mardi Gras celebrations is literally party central and a free zone for public libations, and also holidays at many beach parties (both Coastal & at many lakes) are also quite wild as well (almost as wild as spring break used to be at Fort Lauderdale, Florida back in the day).. So there are some relaxed 'rules & regulations' places still over here in the US, though most places and times there is still some major stigma's to walking around publicly and drinking copiously...

    Ah, microphoney thing does seem to work nicely. I probably shouldn't be surprised about the artsy strip club, but in the US, a lot of them can be sketchy and/or skeevy AF, though I may have a sample bias, since basically I've only really seen them when one of my dancer friends needed me to bodyguard a bit. Cause police-trained gal. If it wasn't dodgy or uncertain, I wouldn't need to be there. :) (Also I guess I should add, most of the 'uncertain' category would turn out to be really tame, so I'd just be there being reassuring someone's first night there. And some of these ladies put effort into the dancing, too. I guess if you're going to do something, do it well.)

  • @AnthonySouls
    @AnthonySouls 5 років тому +12

    Lol, the Strip club couple were all philosophical about the strip club, lol; they acted like they just came from an art exhibit.
    It's increasing that they start out with a masculine outfit, then progress into a feminine one.
    I didn't even know that it was done on an iPhone; It's pretty steady.

    The blonde white girls are very beautiful. I want many blonde white girls to marry Japanese boys. And I hope that many blond white girls will move to Japan.

    Would you be able to do a video on what it's like to be transgendered in Japan, are they very welcoming and accepting to transgendered people.

      That would be a nice video, but as someone who has many LGBTQIA+ friends and coworkers working in Japan with me, I can testify that Japan is far from being as accepting as some western countries. Even law-wise, there's still almost nothing to protect their human rights and all.
      Even though you might see some gay, transgender and transvestites on TV, they're always the funny ones, the ones whom people make fun of.
      LGBTQIA+ might be toleated and may be glamoured in yaoi and Yuri, but when it's the "real thing" in real life, many Japanese get uncomfortable or disgusted, or might not understand. Of course, some people are fine with it and might even support them, but discrimination is high in this society and the workplace (hence why many Japanese and foreigners working in Japan never come out since the dynamics would probably change, and in a negative way like it does for many of them). :(

      @@coralie288 I agree on your points, however it is a shame things have to be that way in Japan, I believe that Japan has a long way to go before they become accepting and supportive of LGBTQIA+ rights as a whole, though I still think and feel a video should be made, hiding the topic in shadows does nothing for the LGBTQIA+ community at large, talking about it can only service to bring it to rise to a point where hopefully one day Japan can reach the potential and beyond that potential of being supportive to such people and individuals who are Trans. Anyhow these are just my thoughts and opinion, I can only hope that they will make a video one day.

      @@coralie288 I'm Japanese living in North America for a while. I'm honestly very impressed with how you properly understand the situation of LGBTQIA+ people in Japan. That is the same as how I have been thinking about the issue of Japan regarding LGBTQIA+. Japanese and Japanese law/government don't accept/protect their human right, even if they don't obviously discriminate LGPTQIA+ people.
