Hi, The Z axis is an acceleration sensing value, interpolating the re.corder position in space and the gravity force. I don’t use it because it’s not easy to use, we could have hid it since it’s a value that the 3D sensor calculates constantly but we left it available to let people experiment in some ways. For example, I used it once to trigger notes or drum hits using the re.corder when I shook it really hard, by setting a threshold level on the sensor output value. I hope that it makes sense! P.S. maybe in the future I’ll make a M4L device for it with an explanation video😁
Please explain what is the Z axis movement. None of us user understand it. Specially with respect to midi
