    Congratulations on the progress.
+1 for moving away from big tech
    +1 for two-factor authentication

Cheers James! Yeah, the big tech thing is a challenge but I think it's becoming more and more essential. There's some great open source products out there. We just need an easy replacement for Windows. 😁👍

Like the goal concept the best. As well as some of the goals them self. Going to think this over for the next few days. I noticed the don't put all your eggs in one basket concept over and over. Keep the videos coming I'm learning a lot. I'm a small buisness member myself.

Main problem with Libre is no filter by colour. I use Libre to set up a file with filters and then open it in Office Starter just for that function. Starter comes free with most computers.

That was very interesting. I was expecting more detail but what you presented seemed perfectly adequate. I suspect some people over think their goals.
It would be quite interesting to see a schedule with milestones for your renovation project! Please?

Cheers Charles! The vid was getting quite long so didn't want to go in to too much more detail. Renovation schedule would be a bit too niche for the public channel but I might shove it on the Member Zone. 👍👍

@@SmallBusinessToolbox That would be good, especially to see how the targets are met or missed and dealt with. There must be several risks to be considered and mitigated. All good business practice, which I suspect small businesses do not handle well, if at all.

I use Libreoffice since 2016 and I've never had any problem. I nearly only use "Calc" and "Write"
Importing MS files isn't any problem at all. As an operating system I use Linux (I think Ubuntu. I still you the 16.04 version (I forgot to refresh to 18.04) but I've no idea
if there already is a 20.04 version.

Hi Andy, things have to get better, I voted to stay in the EU and lost, I was worried about car costs to export and how Nissan would have moved if they the price went up, thankfully they did not. The health problems and the big problem for me (age 69) kept me in my house and I nearly went mad with not seeing my friends who are all in the same boat so it has to be better although I used to go out for a meal every Monday and Friday and I don’t know until we get back to normal but I fear a lot of pubs that serve food will have gone bust and I had made friends in all the pubs we went to. I am stopping here as it seems to be turning into a moan about things and I have nothing to moan about because I am still here. PS I use office 7 that came out in 2007 before everything went nuts, I no longer have any helpdesk or updates but I am all right with that.

Cheers John! Yeah, the lockdowns have been really hard and hospitality has been decimated sadly. Hopefully enough will come back but it will take time. Office 7 - hey, I'm still using Microsoft Money version 5.0. From 1996. Still works great! 😂👍

@@SmallBusinessToolboxYes, all the Office utilities work well, I am continuing with office with the knowledge that if for some reason office stops working I can still access my files from web utilities that can open office files, the only difference I can see is that I no longer get the updates and that suites me fine.

@@SmallBusinessToolbox I’m still doing my books on Quickbooks 3.0. The most recent OS it will run on is Windows for Workgroups 3.11! Luckily DOSbox allows me to run WFW 3.11 on Windows 10. I paid good money for Quickbooks in 1995, so I’m going to get my money’s worth!
