Gibson 1979 Les Paul Custom Triple Pickup Silverburst

This guitar has recently had an assessment & evaluation from a UK Official Gibson Service Centre.
We reached out to Gibson and they had the following to say:
'Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, we do not have individual serial records from this time period however we do know that 2 guitars were made with a 3 pickups configuration, after reviewing the photos you sent, we can confirm the middle pickup route is original and this would have been one of the 2 guitars that were made with the 3 pickups configuration. Thanks again!'

Body
Lacquer checking and several dents & dings as in the photographs.
Neck
Truss rod has been tested and is fine.
Lacquer checking on the back of neck.
Fretboard
Fretboard is in great condition. Frets have been levelled but plenty of life left in them.
Headstock
There is an number etched on the back of the headstock. The previous owner had the guitar for 40 years and this was already there.
It is believed to have been put there for insurance purposes.
Dent on back of headstock (as pictured). Under blacklight looks like a touch of black paint has been added.
Lacquer checking.
Electronics
All cleaned and tested.
As in the Gibson Service Centre report. All appears to be original.
Hardware
Cleaned up nicely and all in working order.
Shoulder strap button looks to have been replaced.
Knobs
Two knobs have been replaced. The originals have an amber hue to them.
Case
Original chainsaw case in good, working condition.
