Great question and thanks for asking. I typically do this so that they dry out enough to eliminate the possibility of rotting during transplant. Now, with that said. It also depends on the time of year and weather and all that as well. TBH these would have proabbly been just fine to go head and pot up, but just out of habit I left em out so that the the freshly cut area can dry up to eliminate any issues. -N

Great video! Why do you let the pups sit out and dry for a couple hours? I would think you would want to get them directly and some soil.
