Shit, I have a 4x4 Kallax on one side of my bed, and two 2x3s standing up tall-ways on the other. I don't really know why anybody would use anything else for a nightstand.
It also makes a cool and functional room partition if you buy one of the bigger ones.
I like this shelving unit KALLAX, easy to assemble, easy to hack and the result is always awesome.

I’ve never heard ‘very awesome’ before. I thought awesome was the top level. Some great ideas though.

Kallax 2 x 4 box can only carry 13 kg weight. It is impossible to make benz or bed from those things
