I live in CO and went to third bridge at 3am with some friends. we sat in complete silence, in his car, with the windows rolled down, and nothing but static from the radio playing. This was the first time I had ever experienced anything paranormal and it didn’t necessarily scare me but more or so gave me an overwhelming sense of pride to where I started crying (I heard loud drumming and traditional dance chanting) because I am Native American and I felt what my ancestors felt with what took place on that plot of land. I was the only one who heard the drumming and singing but it was clear as day as if it was just outside the car window.

This is so beautiful, but so sad because of the painful history. I'm so sorry for any generational pain you feel... I live in an old house, and grew up in an old house on a farm in Kansas. Sometimes I just get the feeling I'm not alone, in the homes and out in nature. It's not a scary feeling, it's a feeling of loneliness and sadness. At times it's intense, so I always say out-loud something like, "I'm sorry for anything hurtful that has ever happened to you and your loved ones, I hope you're at peace, and I hope I'm a comforting soul to be around. Just know that if you want to move on to places that I may not understand yet, don't be afraid, souls that love you are there with open arms. But if you feel at home here, you are welcome and we have nothing but love for you"

i’m actually a descendant of warriors who were in the battlefield at the sand creek massacre and it’s really shocking to have seen this added in the video.
I had never heard of it before (probably because I live in Sweden and have lived in Norway as well, so only really learned Scandinavian and European history in school, vikings, vasa etc).
Actually my history lessons only really focused on the Holocaust, don’t get me wrong, that’s extremely important as well, I just wish we learned more.
In Norway my school had a Second World War week and my teachers dressed up as nazis (they also sometimes would yell Jewish swine to the class)… and if you wore makeup or hair gel, your head would be dunked in a tub… Really traumatic… I think they did it so we knew how it felt to go to school at that point in time… but yeah really fucked up and wrong way to teach…
