On "Family Guy", no one is safe. They have made fun of every country, religion, race, sexual preference, good movies, bad movies, good people, bad people, musicians, actors, politicians and probably whatever your chosen profession is.
I was worried when I saw the title! I hope you guys realize yes it's stereo type, but it's a show that is purposely as offensive as possible. Any race, ethnicity , religion. They will go as hard as they can air on TV. It is a type of American comedy that you have to have thick skin and laugh at yourself to enjoy.
This reaction video was such a breath of fresh air. You don't know how rare it is that people can have a sense of humor about their culture and beliefs nowadays. My cynicism really appreciates this video.
Trust me this ain't a breath of fresh some of the jokes they still find it offended most of us Indian don't get like these types of dark humour jokes especially the girl some of the jokes she didn't even get it most of Indians like crieng jokes and staged pranks 😂😂
This show actually slams general American ignorance overall. You guys really have a great sense of humor to watch this and laugh. I am very self-deprecating. I love this show. It slams everybody, no holds barred!!! Sometimes we all need to check ourselves and take a chill pill.
Was it premiered after the Super Bowl in 1998?. I may still have my video cassette, dude,.... Family Guy has been ridiculing everyone, for like 23 years barring the fact they got cancelled for a few and brought back. Anyone who gets offended is missing the point, just like the Simpsons and South Park they are pointing out how dumb people are for making fun of other people, cultures, "races" etc.
There is a compilation of Family Guy Asian jokes. I'm half-Japanese and I always find them to be really funny. Some people probably get offended and the jokes are all based on Asian stereotypes. I think it's funny though. We just have to be able to laugh at ourselves sometimes. Plus it's Family Guy, so no one is safe, lol.
And in all honesty everybody plays true to a stereotype of type of some kind. I love the goth jokes they make like the when Peter was telling goth and emo kids to kill themselves because he convinced them he was Selnderman. Lmao I’m goth and it’s true when we I was younger and emo I was super impressionable as too what the subcultures expectations are vs the reality of it is. I literally got into cutting myself when depressed because other kids around me did it, only to find out that true members of the goth community never pushed that stuff and were strongly against it. Family guy shows through humor a lot of reality. The one making fun of jack skeleton from nightmare before Christmas was hilarious when he said fat chicks with black hair get tattoos of me! Lmao it’s offensive but it’s true a lot of us do that. It’s nothing to be ashamed family guy just embraces comedy but telling us harsh realities and honestly more people should learn to embrace that which makes different and if we’re truly offended instead of blaming them should look within ourselves and ask why it offends us. Then maybe we can learn to confront what the real issues are.
As an American who regularly eats Indian food, I can say that the whole joke about getting sick from eating the food is not purely because it’s spicy. From what I’ve noticed at least in the American south which is where I’m from, the quality of the restaurants is questionable. You really have to do your research so that way you know you’re eating at a place that does things properly and is sanitary. If you do that and you select the level of spice that is comfortable for your body, you’ll generally have a really good experience. I could drink mango lassi and eat samosas every day. Yum!
We have many unsanitary restaurants as well. I also live in the united states. And people here have done extremely nasty things to the food we eat. It often goes unnoticed, which is horrible.
I had a friend from Nepal who encouraged me to eat Indian food forever., I do not like spicy foods in general but out of respect for her, I ate at an Indian restaurant in my neighborhood (Las Vegas, Nevada) I have to say it was spicy as hell. and even though it tasted great I felt the trail of heat all the way down my esophagus
I LOVE Indian food. Eating out and eating at home. The joke they made here I took more about getting sick during travels. THIS does happen. It happens to Americans just about anywhere they/we go. It is as much to do with Americans as it is to do with India. I know this from experience. I was raised in Mexico and came to the states as a child. Growing up, I have always had a reputation of being able to eat just about anything and NOT get sick. The more I learned, I came to find out that my immune system had been made WAY more robust because of the exposures my body endured during my life in Mexico. After many years of living a life under American standards, I am still better off than most people here yet have lost some of my resilience. When I travel to Mexico now, i do get sick when I drink the water. I never did when I was younger. Over time (and repeated antibiotic use in the USA) you lose that resilience.
The “you get diarrhea“ joke is from a talk show called the Oprah Winfrey show in which she gave everyone in the audience a new car. She said “you get a new car and you get a new car“
While serving on a Destroyer in the U.S. Navy, we stopped in Bombay (different name now) and Cochin. In Bombay, it is crowded, and the traffic is insane, but the people are very nice.
Fantastic reaction, you took it in the context it was meant. This is just comedy and it isn’t making fun of India it shows the ignorance of the rest of the world. New sub and much love from 🇬🇧
There was actually a deleted scene in #4 where the guru comes to the Griffins' house bleeding from a sniper bullet to the head, and says "Peter... you were right!"
I am glad to see faithful UA-camrs telling the Indian couple who put up a reaction video to Family Guy to not be offended. Folks, not all Americans lack self-awareness.
Yeah, Indian food can be really really good, and we have some great Indian food places throughout the US. However, the amount of spices you guys like to use can definitely be too much for many Americans 😂.
Agreed, though it also depends on portion size and the amount of oil/ghee used while cooking in Indian restaurants. The food Indians cook for daily consumption is neither too oily/heavy nor too spicy. So find yourself some Indian friends whose homes you can turn up at every now and then and enjoy delicious perfectly spiced, light, and fresh home-cooked fare. 🙂
Loool 😂😂😂😂 as an Indian these guys lack of laughing cracked me up 😂😂 they react exactly how my parents react to these 😂 trying to explain everything 😂😂 excellent job guys subscribing lol

You left the best one out it is a deleted scene Peter- " you are very hot, what are you mixed with?" Girl - "I am African and Indian" Peter - "good plan, breed out the breeding system" Girl - "what"
There was a comedy spy show called Get Smart in the 1960s. One of the spies discovered that Indians wanted to launch a missile at Washington DC. The boss wondered why India would attack the city. The spy said it wasn't those kinds of Indians but rather feather (native Americans which wasn't a phrase at the time) and not dot (people from India). This made the boss even more confused.
I didn’t know anyone thought such negative things about the food or all the diarrhea jokes. Indian restaurant food is so delicious that we eat way too much! Thank you for being so open to the jokes even if it was insulting.
I love you guys!!! Can’t stop watching and just found you all last night! It’s almost 2:30 AM in Louisville, KY and I should be sleeping, but I’m enjoying this channel too much! ❤
Indian food is so full of spices not just spiciness but spices in general that allot of Americans digestive systems can't handle it, I love Indian food

I noticed a common theme whenever these 2 react to comedy. He always gets the jokes and understands that it's meant to be satire, and making innocent fun at them by over exaggerating stereo types. Meanwhile she never gets the jokes. She takes them all literal and serious. She continuously explains how they weren't true, even though he keeps having to reminding her that it's a joke and not meant to be true. I don't think she was ever exposed to comedy growing up, because it always goes right over her head. You can tell that she never finds any of it funny, and lets out short dry chuckles in order to force herself to laugh along with him... I still love the channel, I just imagine it must be difficult for him to enjoy himself while watching comedy with him since she is always so serious and always takes everything to literal.
Yep. Pretty much similar to every American couple reacting to comedies such as "Airplane". It's an evolution thing. Women never had to develop a sense of humor. We had to be funny to make her laugh and have a good time...to procreate! LOL!
Love how family guys can make fun of anybody that ever existed, doesn’t matter who they are even if they themselves are american your still getting targeted
Indian food is one topic that Family Guy got completely wrong. It's actually better for your digestion than most cuisines. Some of the most delicious food on Earth, too.

September 2008 - our air conditioned airplane touched down on the tarmac of Indira Gandhi International airport....Delhi. They opened the doors and "Whoosh!". The air temperature jumped about 30 or 40° and we were bathed in the thick pungent air smelling like a bizarre cross of Spice wind and hard core air pollution. Never smelled anything like that in my life. (Came to mind when the first snippet played on this vid)
I've never heard of the word 'tilaka' - only ever known it as a 'bindi' - looked it up and there are so many words for it! Love these reactions, thanks guys 😄❤

1:25 cartoons were primarily for children in the US too until the late 80s when the Simpsons came out. There was all sorts of anger and backlash towards the Simpsons because many boomers assumed that since its animated, that means its for young children. When its really not. I'd say shows like the Simpsons, Family Guy, and others are really targeting like a 16-35 year old demographic. 5 year olds wouldn't understand 99% of the jokes. Heck, Id bet a lot of teenagers don't get all of the jokes. When they reference various topics of history, culture, geography, sociology. One joke that comes to mind "this is lamer than FDR's legs. Too soon?" I truly wonder how many teens got that joke. Heck, I wonder how many adults got that joke.
Yes, it was offensive, but...much like South Park, Family Guy pokes fun at EVERYONE. They don't pick on any one race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, political party, etc. And to me, that's what makes it funny.
In America the show is also offensive, but many find it funny. For their 100th episode they actually got a bunch of people to interview under false pretenses to talk about how much they hate the show and it was actually one of the funniest things ever. They literally make fun of every culture, orientation, religious, disability, skin color, to the point that you can't even call it offensive unless you haven't been represented 🤣
trust me this cartoon makes fun of every culture lol. im american he clowns us too lol. all in fun
The jokes about America are so fucking true and funny

This show pokes fun at every culture but I really love your guy's reaction. You guys have a great sense of humor. ^_^
also on another note i love u guys and dont take everything to heart.....very good quality now days.u got a sub from me
Yes, it was offensive, but...much like South Park, Family Guy pokes fun at EVERYONE.
Family Guy spares no one and that's I love the show
Compliments to your open mindedness and sense of humor
India is a very beautiful and powerful country
