Thank you, Actually for me as a new in freelancing world i was very confused but i just had to start so i tried competition sites but as u said it was a waste of time and I didn't do it for long, i thought i should spend my time to build my personal brand on social media i started on linked in, fb, ig and building a good portfolio on behance, i focused on making content on ig it was so hard since i had to learn about everything and execute at the same time, but after one year i got my first client from behance then some from ig and still working on getting better ❤

Hey Kayla, I was wondering what are your thoughts on cold emailing for agencies? I was thinking of starting that by bringing in consistent clients and filling my sales pipeline.
Hi, great question! We have not personally tried it that much but I found this great course called the "ethical cold pitch" by Bree and if I was doing cold emailing, that would be the approach I take. It could also be a good idea to focus on local companies first, ones where they feel like there is a connection just because you are close by :) Good luck! I would love to hear back if you find a strategy that you really like, I'm sure many watching would find it helpful too!

I'm so happy you found it helpful! Can you give me some more information on what type of outreach you are thinking of? Is it DMs to people who you think could be clients? In that case, I would go for a well crafted and researched email instead since most brands decision makers don't run their social media accounts. Va roligt att du kunna få hjälp av tipsen! Vi vände oss till vår lokala chamber of commerce och såg vilka olika evenemang de hade. Vi sökte även speciellt på vår industri för att se vilka evenemang de planerade. Om du bor i Sverige har nyföretagarcentrum bra information om networking och har även mentorprogram man kan gå med i :) Hoppas det hjälper!
