Day 6 Vlog Camino de Santiago Portuguese Coastal Route

Viana do Castello to Moledo // 13 miles
On Day 6, I faced reality. I am suffering with swollen feet and made a tough decision to call for help and take an Uber the last bit of the way
My bag is too heavy for me. The extra weight is causing my feet to swell. And by continuing to carry my bag, my feet will continue to be swollen no matter how many cold plunges I do.
I tried to sign up for a luggage transfer system yesterday, but unfortunately they need 48 hour notice before the first pick up. I didn’t know this until I had already booked my accommodation on the other side of 13 miles of walking 🤦‍♀️ So I walked 8.5 miles and took an Uber the last 4 miles to the beach so I could soak my swollen feet. Then I hobbled the .5 mile from the beach to my guesthouse, which also happened to be the worst place I stayed. So bad, that I considered leaving at 10pm
This was my worst day by far, but seriously stay tuned for tomorrow because it’s one of THE BEST 🙌
