It made me love the city even more! One of the very serious fancy palace museums even sectioned off one of the ballrooms to play music and let people do a sing-along, which is just something that I would never imagine happening in a place like that haha.

Haha, that brought me back to my flixbus trip to Zagreb. :D Actually the way home was very nice because there were many Eastern European men on the bus who work in Germany, and they were super nice. They offered me to share snacks with them and everything. Party bus sounds not so nice. I am still so sad you didn't get to go to the concert, but as you said, so so so lucky everyone stayed safe. And Vienna is so beautiful. It's so cool they had free stuff for Swifties! So happy you still had a great time there.
Always a gamble with Flixbus, but for 28 Euro to get across a different country I'll accept it haha.
