According to the official manual, only the CLP-785 contains the Scarlatti and Beethoven pianos. The CLP-775 doesn't - read page 106 of the english Owner's manual. Please correct this in the video, as it is quite misleading.
I was thinking that too... But on the US features page, it doesn't include the 775 as the one with only 2 voices... I also saw another video somewhere referencing all 4 voices for the 775.. Seems like at some point the 775 was meant to get all 4 voices... but then didn't... Really wish they did, no point in not including the other two in the 775...
I have CLP 775. It sounds fine but sounds much better with greatly increased reverb depth. Pianos default to mere level 5, whereas it needs at least 30 of the 40 available. It is a great nuisance having to trawl through the menus to get to the reverb, choose which sort, and then adjust the level, and do this each time I start to play. So, how do I save my preferred "Piano Room" settings, so they are still set and immediately available at switch-on? Thanks for any help.
Hello, can you please help me choose from CLP 725 and YDP 164. I have played friend's YDP162. I assumed the key touching of YDP164 will be similar to YDP162? I am more used to the grand piano. However, due to the current living space, I cannot have the grand piano. Also, I have a budget issue. Which one will you recommend between CLP 725 and YDP164? (CLP725 costs about 1.5 times more than YDP164.) Thanks.
@@arghavanfathalian7971 Yes, I chose between 164 and 725. 725 is much better in all respects (binaural sound, keys and appearance). Now I want more! I agreed with the store and he will exchange 725 for 745 for me! I don't like the sound of the 725 speakers and want new features. Don't choose 164, 725 is much better but 745 is better than 725))
Hello, thanks for this thorough review. I do have one question though, I have read a lot of reviews saying the 775 has a much heavier action than the 785 , (due to counter weights in 785). Could you please give me your opinion if you think there is a very noticeable difference in the weight and feel of keys? There is no where close to where I live that I can try them both out, so I would really appreciate your opinion. Thanks so much!
That example at 4:05 is the first try time anyone has explained acoustic resonance properly regarding these instruments.
Fantastic
Amazing demonstration and Piano sound! Congrats Craig! Thanks Yamaha!
Uh, it's 11 minutes of a dude talking. Dense and useful information, but I wouldn't call it a demonstration.

P-515 is a very nice portable Clavinova (CLP-645). Please, update the firmware with new voices (Pianoforte, C3 Nashiville and Upright U1, U3...)!

Is the CLP 725 better than the Arius 184? I'm just wanting the closest thing to an acoustic around the $2,000 range.
Clavinova keys are better than Arius.
