Thanks for this video as I've been looking at the best ways of getting from Vienna to Trieste for a cruise. Enjoyed your world cruise shorts but would be great to see a video where you give your pros and cons on doing an MSC World Cruise ( it's something I'm interested in looking at over the next decade and their prices are much more attractive than the US cruise lines). Thanks again.

Glad it was helpful! We are currently editing and posting our long-form videos on our World Cruise--releasing them on Saturdays. We will be providing a review along with that. Thank you for the kind words, much more to follow on the channel!

@@janandtraceytravels Delighted to hear that there are more videos on the world cruise to come - just watched the Barcelona chase video - not the relaxing start you would have liked ;-)

Actually, we are so glad that happened just so we could have the story!

Can you comment on how far the train station is from the cruise port? Is it an easy walk?

The Regent Splendor was docked right near the Piazza Unità d'Italia. I think it's just under a mile away from the train station. We took a cab as it was simply easier than schlepping our bags. I don't remember how much the cab was, but don't remember it being out of the ordinary. As you will see in the following video, we did walk straight from our hotel-at Piazza Unità d'Italia--to the ship. That was very, very easy to do. Sorry, I don't have a better answer. Thanks for watching. Jan

Hello! Nice video. hope it's not too late for an answer. From the train station it's like 15-20 min walk following the road next to the sea side, maybe a little more because of traffic lights and bags... anyway it's an easy walk.
