I don’t remember if these were at PAF if they were I missed them but wish I could give them a listen. It’s also interesting that he has the right speaker closer to the front wall than the left, I’ve seen this trick before in small rectangle rooms, I wonder if this was intentional?
Not at all 😅… there is an AC at the right corner that stands in the way so we simply couldn’t place the speakers symmetrically 😉. And BTW, the AC was shooting exactly on the magnets of the right speaker, causing the magnets and the heatsinc of the amp at the right side be much colder than on the left side. We therefor blocked the wind with a piece of cardboard and let the air flow inside the room. The temperature on both sides was then equal…

Room always sounds perfect!
The trick is to think of open baffle more like the drivers and the room the enclosure. Where box speakers throw sound at you in a room.
