8bitdo support is so nice, that if u ask them some spare parts to repair the joystick, they will send it out for free. Best company for pads out there.
I asked if there was anything they could do to help me replace my missing R2 trigger piece that just pops off on my SN30 Pro+ because it said "sold out". Their customer service said unfortunately they no longer produce the ones in the SNES gray. I said, oh is there anything you could do? They responded with, "you're going to have to just purchase the R2 in the Famicon color... sorry". $1.99 for the piece plus $15 shipping. No thanks... lol. It just felt like they were telling me, "whelp, sucks to be you". Idk maybe I expected too much when I thought they would have either sent me the piece or I would pay for the piece and they could maybe waive the shipping fee. Idk. I guess I shouldn't expect that at all either. I mean, they are a business at the end of the day. But I kind of expected some type of help from them because I hear all the time how 8bitdo tends to help out their customers by sometimes just sending them pieces just like in this comment.
Analogue could have made a non-portable home console version of the Analogue Pocket and it would have sold like crazy. The Analogue GB Mini would be so nice.

I was half tempted to get the natural color metal analogue to match the silver controller, but I love the Noir too much. I passed on the gold due to looking too bronze and it seemed to be powder coated (although itd go great w the Zelda edition Switch)
I would imagine the textured surface is making the analog grinding on the controller shell feel terrible. Just keep using it, it'll smooth out eventually. 🤣
I'm guessing they were produced by the same manufacturer who CNC'd the aluminum Analogue Pocket. Analogue may have planned metal plated Docks to match the Pockets, but probably came to their senses, that no one will buy a $400 Dock. :P

Why would they bit make the Start and Select buttons metal? Those seem like the most obvious buttons to make metal as they are not constantly being hammered on.

Hyperkin is really hit and miss with their controllers... so that kind of stuff I had zero interest when they were announced.

I can’t speak to their wired stuff, but 8bitdo’s Bluetooth controllers never work well for me unless I’m sitting close to my laptop (no such issues with my PC XBOX Bluetooth controller).
I was half-tempted to buy one of these, but at $100 a pop I'm better off getting the regular SN30 (have wired and wireless) and a Pro 2. At least they now have Hall Effect joysticks.
I think they are pretty bitching but I don’t have $100 to blow on a fancy pants 8bitdo controller. If I did “TAKE MY MONEY” lol. They are definitely cool and I think it would be worth even modifying them with plastic sticks.
I've NEVER broke a controller from a game pissing me off! I'm too cheap and it wouldn't be the controller's fault in most cases. Most rage I have ever gotten from a game is screaming at it, cussing it out, then finding something else to play.
Sorry, but the metal or aluminum (however you want to refer to it) is totally worth it. It has a much better feel than the plastic version, and I love the plastic versions.

I could see these being cool for some sorta arcade setup where you just leave them plugged in. I wonder if it's more or less durable than a plastic controller. I like that they used torx, makes it seem higher quality. Kinda disappointed it didn't use Hall effect sticks. Maybe they were making use of old PCB stock now that they revised most of their stuff to use Hall effect sticks. I wonder if a little bit of lubricant would help the sticks feel better. I'd try some Nano-Oil 10 weight on there, commonly used on pocket knives.
8bitdo and analogue the same company than why are the snalogue pockets made with bad quality materials look at the sn 30 build quality but analogue pocket scratches/stains easily and has bad cut outs for its ports

A little bit of white lithium grease on the stick might make it better but metal on metal is always going to suck compared to plastic. lol
