  • The overall question this webinar focuses on is ‘How to communicate evidence around EbA (or climate change adaptation more broadly) effectively in the form of inspiring stories to the general public?’ The underlying assumption suggests that leveraging narratives of change in the media can capture the attention of policymakers, donors, and decision-makers, thereby catalysing critical actions. To address this question succinctly, various speakers will focus on the following sub-topics:
    a. The current challenges of communication stories of change
    b. Bridging the gap between not-for-profits and mainstream media
    c. The role of niche media (such as Mongabay or IDR) in bringing about social change
    d. Data on readership. What works and what doesn’t?
    e. Engaging PR to amplify visibility and impact
    Our objective is to distil insights and strategies that contribute to a precise framework for communicating EbA evidence, fostering engagement with stakeholders, and driving impactful actions for climate change adaptation.
