Does the benelli suppressed make any noise at all? I just slapped a suppressor on it and I cannot hear anything besides the rounds impacting, but I'm a little unsure if its just on my end because I don't have friends to test it. Also the benelli has the exact same recoil when fired with one hand compared to 2 hand hold, which has some pros and cons I guess.
JW 1911 has like a 16 round capacity. Between that and the rails both the socom and JW are substantially better than the standard 1911. To further ruin your fun, the 45s and 9mm take the same number of rounds to kill, assuming you're hitting center mass, so the base Glock is just better than all of them unless you're shooting extremities. And if you do need to dig through armor, the Tokorov is better than 45 or 9.
From base stats it looks like the best weapon in the game besides the big round rifles. Should definitely be high A or S. 1000RPM, 2 shot kill, suppressor, same pen as 556. Edit: also the BAR is like a budget G3, considering AP 3006 is the same as 762x51.
The galil is my favorite early wipe but now knowing that it can 2 shot kill with AP ammo i might have to put a kit together with it! Plus a fully kitted Galil is a vibe. Its a pretty sweet looking rifle

The tan luck is real! I went on a raid got purple but it no clipped, Found a friend to play with, we hit vault and got preeetty bad stuff, but after that we went naked in silo AND KILLED BOSS and now me, of all people me, a 2 day noob, has t6 armor and t6 helmet with gold sks. Thank you for the tips Tan, You don’t know how much this helps.

The G3 being available at Spectre 3 is insane. With FMJ rounds, is a one shot on someone who forgot to heal up after their first scav encounter. Similarly the Tapco SKS may not be a full 2 shot on FMJ, but on the off chance you cause a bleeding wound, they drop before they can bandage.
I feel like I have gotten bleeds under 10 times in the past 3 wipes. And I'm pretty sure the majority of those times were the raids I forgot to bring any meds in.
the FN 57 has the same armor penetration stats as 7.62x39 and 5.56 according to the wiki... because 5.7 is actually a rifle round. It and the deagle are the only two pistols that have real penetration... which does in fact make it better the rest of the pistols. despite the lower base damage compared to the .45s. Because .45 and 9mm just dont have good penetration stats even with AP.
Rating of as val and VSS is outrageous. You're saying 1:43:57 the penetrations of 9x39mm are not very good. But as a matter of fact they are EXACTLY the same as 5.56 and 7.62x39.
My thoughts on the CX, Either D or F tier. Right behind the Glock, same ammo type, but glock hits shots easier. Its only saving grace is that you can use it to carry attachments if you dont bring in a bag.
The cx8 storm is actually a very solid weapon when paired with a grip, the grip kills the recoil and turns it into a very accurate bullet hose (think ppsh but medium range capabilities) I personally never had a problem with the mag size maybe it's just you.
What about the lack of a firing mode indicator? That feature (or lack thereof) has gotten me killed while using this gun more timesthan I am willing to admit on a public forum 😅. I'll use it on a naked run, but if I exfil with it I'm selling it immediately after getting back to base!

@Pith_and_Vinegar I've been trying to do a quick 2-5min practice raid any time I change gear or die. Far too many times I have forgotten meds or food. And I always check to make sure my guns are off safety and on full auto. And also triple check I don't have any equipment so I don't take nods into a day raid again.
tan ima be honest in my opinion having a as val with the canted grip and armor piercing, best gun in the game. it’s fires so fast, does a good amount of damage, and if you have ap in it it melts through kitted dudes. the only downside for it is having to grind krtek for the 30 round mags the goons with the vss drop sometimes. or you could just get like spectrum level 5 but that takes a while. as val definitely does not deserve b rank lol
and the ak alpha is s rank but 7.62x39ap has the same armor penetration as 9x39ap it just shoots slower and has a lower dps then as val. if we were going by that then ak alpha should be in like b rank or sm with as val.
I agree on everything but Galil. Its the only 5.56 gun that does more than 50 damage (w/ AP), making a 2 shot kill. Its also the highest damage dealing gun other than an AK Alpha that can mount a sight, grip, and be effective in full auto.
You don't think the Val is effective? Even full auto it is pretty accurate. I get the m4 fires a little fast, but what about the scar and ak5c? I do like the galil, front mounted optic isn't ideal but it works. I think I'd take the slight decrease in damage for one of those instead though. Is there any reason the ak5c should be used in place of the scar? They feel pretty darn close in my hands and the scar is half the cost.
I wish they would bring back the uzi and add a full auto glock maybe even bring back the pump shotty and add aight mounts on some of the pistols would be nice too
Agreed, but the lack of a physical indicator for its firing modes makes me want to throw it in the D category. If I have no other choice I will use, but mostly I'll sell it and the ammo immediately after exfil.

At 13:00 you actually mixed up the 57 with the USP. Which fun fact, that older model is an FN Five-seveN mk2 (Yes its spelled that way, haha fabrique nationale), and the new model is a Five-seveN Mk3 MRD. I normally don't like the tan FDE color, but it does nicely contrast against the other handguns

Tan for a video please use the ASVal it is easily an A tier and if your good with it it’s an S tier it can counter most other weapons and the range and fire rate on it is crazy.
So i have some critiques about this list. All info will be from the wiki The main problem (in the first half) is that Tan only ranks guns based on their damage against unarmored opponents and doesn't think about armor penetration. Also the magazine size was commonly tossed aside at least for pistols Pistols: The pistols are basically all d tier according to Tan despite being very different. Why is the 1911 next to the 2011 despite having less than half the ammo capacity? Why is the 5.7 d-tier when it has the best armor penetration of any pistol (tied with the tokarev and deagle), access to 30 round mags and a rail. I'd argue that the 5.7 should be a tier, and the usp and 2011 at least c tier. Smgs: The smgs basically all suffering from the curse of small bullet, meaning that the armor penetration on basically all of them is pretty poor. The ump (and fin reaper) is just plain bad against anyone with even tier 3 armor. Even the ap can only pierce tier 3 about 50% of the time, which isn't a bad time to kill, but bump that up to tier 4 armor and its about a 15% change to pierce which considering the fire rate is abysmal.That being said, the ump is very very good against unarmored or lightly armored players. As much as I'd love to love the ump as a H&K nerd, it just isn't that good and i think it should be c-tier. The p90 is on par with the mp7. The Best penetration of all smgs (once again tied with 7.62x25 and 4.6x30), a default ammo capacity of 50 rounds and a very controllable recoil. Seriously take this to silo and you'll have the time of your life. The cx8 is better than the mp5. Costs less, is available earlier, has better fire rate, bigger mags and can have attachments. Rifles: the rifles are overall best all rounders. The armor piercing is a lot better than most smgs and they're usually more controllable. The asval is all around the best gun in the game in my opinion. The literal only drawback to it is the low magazine capacity and if you have good aim that doesn't really matter. With even a decent grip it becomes a laser beam. I've sprayed fully geared people more than a hundred meters away with it, it's great in cqc and it's integrally suppressed. S tier no doubt. Also as a side note why was a big part of placing the VSS lower on the tier list it's armor penetration? 9x39 has the same properties as 7.62x39. The scar is a-tier in my opinion. The only weakness it has is cqc because of the low fire rate and that only matters if they have a better gun than you. Overall it's a pretty good tier list with a few things wrong in it. No hate to Tan at all I love the guy but I just felt like commenting about this. Would love to hear from other people what they think about my take.

That's kind of weird. I feel like 50% of the firefights I walk away from I get a bleed anymore.

CX is absolutely C-tier... it's a decent gun. I've killed a bunch of players and fenix with it... not as good as ump/vector/etc

Yeah, aside from 30round mags being level 5 I do love those guns. Even with the 20s I managed to get a couple duos, but it's pretty close

The cx is amazing a teir for me personally. I only shoot every gun in semi never use full auto

The MP40 was surprisingly useful as a starter weapon.

cx8 is a really good gun i mean the rail space and just spectre level 2 best pick for this level my opinion
I can agree that the deagle does one shot to the torso I got shot with one without any armor and got one shot with it and yes it was AP
