hard to choose just one….. for 0.3mm - orenz nero for 0.5mm - kaweco special for 0.7mm - graf von classic for 2.0mm - faber-castell tk9400 for 3.0mm - faber-castell tk9400
@@penpencilpaint OK, then it's a definite buy for me. Thanks for the info. :) Seems like almost nobody includes those with their products anymore. You can use a knife to peel a plastic twist-tie from a bread bag and use the thin metal rod inside to clear a lead jam in a 0.7mm pencil, but at least the ones in my country are too big for a 0.5mm, so I've been desperately looking for a proper cleaning pin.
@@penpencilpaint It never mind! 😄 By the way, I do own the Rotring 600, 800 and Rapid Pro in different versions and love them all! I don't have any Staedtler mechanical pencil though, but I don't think I'll ever buy one, as they are made out of aluminum (instead of brass like Rotrings), which is a much less denser and less solid metal. I do prefer the Rotrings.
@@off711 2mm (clutch pencil / lead holder) or bigger than that, there is a sharpener that sharpens 2.0 or more. Staedtler, Faber-Castell, Otho, M+R, KUM, lots of brand makes it : )

Is the grip of staedtler rubberized?
How do you sharpen the lead on this?
hi there, no need to sharpen the mechanical pencil’s lead, it is very thin, the diameter of the lead is like 0.5mm, 0.7mm…even 0.3, 0.2mm. : )
@@penpencilpaint oh i have a 2mm version

That is very maybe too close to the pental 500
I believe the 925-25 came out before the graphgear 500
@@TheHeadincharge well that fair enough then 😉 also i think this wud be heavier too, all metal body the 500 lower knurled only
@@GregorysModeit doesn’t resemble the 500 in even the slightest lol.
