Thank you so much for uploading this. I think you can learn a lot from your mistakes, and sometimes UA-camrs are more interested in sharing a perfect game than a sloppy, educational game :).
I lost 37 soldiers before I won my Ironman legendary campaign. However I also increased the avatar project timer to be double as it was my first legendary iron man attempt. I tried my best keeping the project under 12 bars like in vanilla but it did go over once since I can't see the timer. If I had know I would have assaulted the alien base a day earlier. What I'm trying to say is a lot of these campaigns can bounce back, if it's early like this yeah it's worth restarting. I probably replayed the start 10 times until I got a team that did not all die on the first and second mission.
And this is why I'll play legendary but never touch Ironman. Turns always take too long trying to micromanage the best moves. The game becomes drawn out and boring in my opinion.

The grenade removed some high cover that was blocking your line-of-sight on that second pod. Very, very nasty.

I decided to watch whole run after this video. You're not doing big mistakes, most events happening are unfortunate coincidences.

If you would reduce the level of the game audio, your narrating would be way better to hear. Maybe also try another microphone...
