I think you'll really enjoy this series, especially if you're looking for something lighthearted; I feel it does a great job balancing covert action sequences building on the long-term spy plot with the endearing comedy in the slice-of-life, episodic adventures of their found family unit. Definitely looking forward to seeing you go through the rest!

btw, If you havent figured it out by now, this is basically 1960/70s east and west Germany. Loid was a kid at the end of WW2, thats what they showed in his childhood flashback. and i love how accurate is the show with small details, like the vehicles. all of them are from soviet russia and east Germany.
The scene at the end, where Anya waits for him, is playing right next to the Berlin wall. Including a shuttered store (where he took out those goons). Its all accurately recreated.
What i love about anya is they really nailed her as a child, not like any other genius character because she is a main character with power. With her child like personality and imagination even if she tells everyone her power people will just play and go with it.😂
In Japanese manga culture, it is a standard action for a spy to manipulate a mask that resembles another person's face at will. If this were a work such as AOT, it would be subject to criticism, but since this is a comedy, the viewer simply accepts that this is the way it is.

Honestly, one of the most heartrending and yet warm moments in hindsight: "Papa is so good at finding me". Anya has always been lost. She's been alone. She wants a family, she wants to be loved. She wants someone to treat her as worth keeping despite being terrified of being found out. Anya wants a father, enough that she doesn't even care that for Loid it isn't real. She has a papa now, and if she gets lost, he'll come and find her. Because papa is so good at finding her. He proves it.
I don't know i watched it multiple times... Yet Anya and Loid moments always makes me cry and teared up... Like it's so wholesome i my eyes started to teared ❤😢

Might be bad grammar, but so cute when she said them. But she is only pretending to be 6, because that is what Lois needed. Most think she is 4 or 5. That is why even though she can read minds, she still has problems understanding things - such as thinking getting to know her will lead to world peace…. 😢😂😊

Spy X Family Episode 1 is an unforgettable, funny and touching experience for me. I watched this anime out of curiosity because there were no more movies and dramas to watch during the pandemic. I was a bit depressed at the time, but watching this anime helped me get through that period. Since then, I've been watching various anime with interest.
basically he is mixture of ethan hunt and james bond , and she is weaker version of professor x, and you are about to meet the missing piece which is "the muscle "
cute heart soft tragic moments with Anya and Loid just sort of breaks my heart and makes me tear up a lot, i have a weakness for good little kids that you just wanna make them happy
Small thing to note, because I don't think the series itself ever straight up says it: The diplomat's car crash actually wasn't an assassination. The iffy relationship between the Ostania and Westalis just caused paranoia, and led to this unfortunate coincidence, and the fact that said coincidence is putting them into conflict again fits with the story very well.
I think my favorite part about this series is that all of the stuff Anya says, while being completely true, sounds in such a way that an adult would dismiss it as child babble. It also feels completely realistic.

Not even a month after you finished Demon Slayer {My favourite anime}, you started with SpyxFamily {Top contendor for 2nd favourite}. You're gonna love this.
"I wasn't expecting anyone to die." Two men died in the first few seconds! This series has a pretty impressive body count for such a wholesome show. Just expect Twilight's spy skills to border on magic. He can change clothes within seconds and has been shown to duplicate others almost instantaneously.
