Finally! Tim Key was the best addition to the cast since Lynn
Same money though!
Finally got that promotion maaaaaa
Who's he?
Cheeky!
Key not Keyes
Coogan is a genius, the slightly too long a walk is to him is absolutely perfect
I laughed way too much at those extra footsteps. The sound and everything was perfect
If I remember correctly, each episode of this time the walk got slightly longer
Sound of the boots… howdy

“Tommy, join me at the lady” will never get old
“Oooh very curvy stripes…like she’s been squeezed out of a…giant tube of uh, Colgate Lady Paste!”, is forever burned into my brain.
I also used it in real life one time and it went down a storm.
Alan in the fashion segment cracks me up every time I see it 😂 I love how he gets more & more into it, like secretly it's the sort of thing he's always wanted to do
it's a stripy chatterbox 🤣🤣
He's really good at being womanly/camp. Like when he became a til worker for a day
I like the way Alan gets more and more camp as the fashion segment develops
Tim Key portrays silent panic so well
"who doesn't like a baby's first smile?"
"Herod?" 😆
We don’t like him
Yes! Because he was a babykiller
I'm still crying with laughter at Compleme Cunm!!😂😂MMM is the best partridge ever!!
Followed by an anguished grimace 😂
I never tire of the pair of them... The Tommy Chaucer sketch is absolutely wonderful 😂
Join me at the lady!!
@@emmysparkles1"Feel the fabric, Simon, then talk about it..."
Tim Key's reaction to what the skirt does for her posture is hilarious 🤣
Decent...
Decent bit of skirt. Sorry, I take that back.
“Heads shoulders knees and toes…”
“No.”
Hahahahaha
The shouty Molto Bene is brilliant
A full eleven seconds to walk over to get to sidekick Simon! Classic Partridge.
I love the running joke whereby Sidekick Simon (under the pedantic duress of Alan) is always trying to hide his panic, whilst incompetently navigating the cumbersome software/ gimmicky touchscreen. And then how he tries to buy time with a stream of lower-middle-class ready-wit and faux-casual/colloquial packaged soundbites ... fkin brilliant.
Swipe off, WITH CONVICTION, you see, it respects you now.
Feel like what makes it even funnier is that while he does seem absolutely incompetent, that whole touchscreen setup looks like a genuine nightmare 😅 The panel inexplicably with three different phone icons gets me every time.
Ive watched the fashion show bit so many times and just clocked he calls the third model by the wrong name. Tiny details make it so good!
Squeezed out of a tube of colgate ladypaste is genius writing
Sidekick Simon's the best thing to happen to Alan since sliced bread!
a damp slice covered in glass at that
Sliced bread is the best thing
That's the best thing.
Can I have a t-shirt?
It’s an idiom.
The subtley of British humour and the nuances is on another level. The slightly prolonged moments of cringe to the point of fear and then releasing etc.
Think that’s why other cultures sometimes don’t get it. It’s because it’s very nuanced and subtle.
@@iketyke7324 exactly. For instance Americans need “in yer face” humour. They need an obvious joey from friends type joke set up and canned laughter ti know what to find funny, in a Pavlovian sense.
@@TheJohnCooperShow Yes, though give them their dues, they do have some great comedies themselves. Family Guy, The Simpsons, Modern Family and such.
@@iketyke7324 Simpson’s isn’t funny.
@@TheJohnCooperShow Each to their own fella
The fashion segment is absolutely fantastic!
‘Let them clank against your neck’ 😂😂
Omg I only just realized he calls the third model Julia when her name is Louisa it's the little things that make partridge brilliant
The awkwardness is spot on..😂
'Just missed him I think'...that cracked me up!🤣
"Finally got that promotion Maam"
"Same money though yeah?"
‘You can do other stuff’ - pay attention or you miss these gems
All the sweet wrappers when Simon digs in his pocket, lovely stuff!
Sidekick Simon 🎶 Sidekick Simon 🎶 Sidekick Simon 🎶
the fashion bit when Alan goes off on one and Simon said "this skirt never shuts up", those little exchanges between them are genius.
Tim Key is brilliant in this. Plus he’s from my hometown so he’s a winner.
4:30 juliaaaa
“Man the barricades...” 😂
65 POUNDS - SHE CANT BE
He needs his own series!
Feel the fabric Simon 😂.
The fist-pump at 1:55 and Juliaaa at 4:30 are hilarious.
Tim Key should have his own channel
After clicking one phone then too many phones appear! 😂
Loving Lynn's suggested fashion comment.
This is GREAT banter!
1:40 All the crap coming out of his pocket. My Mum used to call those "chimbles." Sweet wrappers and bits of picked at tissue paper.😂
The hands at 6.03....Genius.
I met Tim at one of his shows. He’s very nice. Very normal 😂
Lovely stuff!
Next moment of tears: Alan trying to say cheese and onion!!😂😂
"Now this I LOOOOOOVVE"
Tim key is just joyous!
Alan makes Simons nervousness worse just by talking to him 😂 I could throttle Alan 😂
Please.. PLEASE season 3? PLEASE
"Tommy, join me at the lady"
NOW we’ve all seen it..classic!
The look on Alan’s knee hand
"I can't remember...." so much sadness. 11:59
Sliced bread 😂😂😂
Seb Cardinal is so good in that role.
Was he the guy who asked, "Which muppet?"
Deserved an award just for that line.
Still think the “Best Thing” skit from Mid Morning Matters is in my Top 3 favourite Sidekick Simon moments. It’s certainly been the most quoted over the years, you idiom …
… so, do I get a T-shirt?
No, you momal mwam..
Best sketch since sliced bread
No…no
We all know the phrase mate
You compleme cumn
We need more camp Partridge 🤣
Simon acts the same as on radio. Alan is aware/ paranoid of the camera.
He surpasses Alan in This Time imo
Shush. You'll get him SACKED!
Colgate Ladypaste 😂
So funny!! 😂😂😂
"Herod"😂
Coogan n Keyes on mid morning matters is fxxkin class...as funny as it gets...no quotes cos they are relentlessly funny..
Who?

''I'd also add it's comfortable, modest and good for Sunday best.. Useless.''
Hahahahaha, was it Lynn who said that
The entire MMM back catalogue to choose from and we get the same 3 or 4 clips over and over again in these compilation videos, just in a different order each time. Would be nice to have a bit more variety.
Molto bene!!
"Livestock, valid."
They should do an Alan partridge mock shopping channel. He could’ve fallen from grace after being cancelled for calling someone a chav again or something like that. It would be great
Colgate Ladypaste
™
Penelope Pitstop
Decent
clearly the change is two poundssssssss
JULIAAAAA
Yeah....smooth is this
Juliaaaaaaaaaaaa
"A giant tube of Colgate lady paste"
The equivalent of Hannibal Buress on the Eric Andre show
Was that a Toblerone sticking out of Alan’s pocket?
Decent bit of skirt
Decent 😂
Off topic 😂...but Louisa is SO pretty ❤. Girl crush 😂.
Can I have a T-shirt 😂
Key > Coogan. Fact.
And please don’t call saying I’m encouraging people
It's ... eight minutes to twelve!
'Ney' 😅
Hasn't IT come on leaps and bounds

A bit like jamiroquai
Sidekick Simon is way better than non-alpha papa.

Roy from Bungay
It never bloody shuts up this skirt !
