      ​@@ELHADI4040 No it didn't. There is no definitive starting place. How does one even define civilization? Besides, Mesopotamia and the Fertile Crescent had complex "modern" societies (slightly) ahead of Egypt.
      Oh, and quit defending "your home", and "your people" (if that's what you're doing), because the ancient Egyptians were neither. They were nowhere near the same civilization as yours, simply because they occupied the same lands. It's just the height of stupidity, to claim the achievements of people dead for thousands of years, as your own.

    Egypt has very ancient history, You have to show your own history by your own museums not stolen museums of Paris or London

    I was there last week ...... beautiful museum with perhaps too much to see. King Tut stuff not open yet which was a shame. We'll worth a visit

      @@thealien_ali3382 you must take an Uber to get there or go on a tour bus. Saqarra is the most amazing place ---- rivalled the Giza plateau.

    Just to inform you, they are all replicas (Of course). Except for some of the larger statues maybe. They will never ever put the real deal in front of the public. Especially knowing how many times they been stolen. Imagine if they put the real Gold Mask in the public. I bet it would stolen within days.

    Wow $1 billion! The Egyptian people live in real poverty and their government spends so much money on this museum which I’m sure will make good money BUT will it benefit the Egyptian people much? They still get paid such low wages

    But will the museum really explain how the pyramids was really built? Egyptians did not build those pyramids, it has been there for 12K years and they claimed it.

    The Arabic spring was terrifying to watch as looters kept trying to break into the museum while others fought them back, no security at all. The one time I felt it was time to put a worldwide organization in charge. Besides, everyone knows todays Egyptian's are to barbaric to handle such treasures, this museum does give it some hope. 😎😎
