Skip the F310 and go straight to the FG800. I can’t think of any reason to buy a full size guitar that doesn’t have a solid top, especially since the FG800 is only about $230 new and is so much better than the F310.
about 12 years ago a friend gave me a Yamaha FG-310 from 1981. Durable guitar. I don't play it much, but decent sound when I do. I bought a Yamaha FG-312 12-string in 1981 and still have it.
I'm not a beginner, but bought one a year ago because I only had a small budget. To my ears it sounds great, but man, I just can't get comfortable with the neck at all.
Same here my finger are thick yet small 😂 if i had to give a suggestions make some rod adjustment (if required) or shave that saddle a bit. Trust me it makes everything easier 🤤
@@Tholin-tm7ps yes I have small hands yet thick fingers too. I set the action as low as it's possible on mine. I just hate the feel of the neck shape and for me I just can't get comfortable with it; even after two years. Too bad as the guitar has more than decent tone and volume; even with the horrible cheap strings I regularly put on it. 👍
Well I had to have something to play in Mexico so I got a CD 60 fender off Amazon Mexico think I'll just put D,adarrio light gauge on it it seems ok but it isn't a Yamaha 820 😆
@@dynosr3723 You will need some tools: Metal ruler which has the edge starting from zero, feeler gauge and a piece of sandpaper, you might need a capo too if you don't have one. + nut files (but it is expensive) You can watch a lot of videos about basic guitar setup. But you have to: 1. set the neck relief, 2. set the action at the 12th fret and set the nut height. The string height I like on my acoustic is (at the 12th fret) 2.3mm on the Low E, 1.8mm on the High E, 0.25mm neck relief at 8th fret.
@@PanoramaUnion ahh I see, I had a fender cd60 v3 last year and it was really hard to play the action wasn’t a problem but neck width made it hard to reach all the strings
For the money it's a no brainer, a life time friend
I have a 2000 edition . Gotta say it’s a beautiful sounding guitar
Great guitar, but the only issue is that I had to spend half of the guitar value with a proper setup on a luthier.
I found that the sound quality of Yamaha guitar is better than Cort guitar. But however price of Yamaha guitar is less than the Cort guitar 🎸
I got two cheap acoustic guitars, both unplayable.
Action on both is well to high, need to include a setup to the cost of the guitars.
Presentation is Good 😊❤

I'm the owner of this Guitar

Thanks for letting us know.
I had no idea they still made these lol. I still have my brother's beat up one from early 2000s.

@@petestaint8312 its like a wine

Its the Best for sure for the price yes the neck!
Seems I made the right choice... all I have to do now is learn to play it.. 🙂
F 310 the best

Yamaha makes the best affordable acoustic guitars no doubt!
yamaha f310 or fender fa 125ce?
Which one did you decide on?
I'M WILL BUY THIS GUITAR THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE GUITAR THE BEST YAMAHA F310
From which country you're gonna buy this? and why
@@neonkrypton9818 Sorry bro there i wrote I'M WILL BUY. I'M FROM MALAYSIA AND I'M AN A INDIAN I REALLY LOVE THAT GUITAR ONE OF MY TOP 1
Im going to get this
All my covers here its with that guitar cant sell it
F370 is better.
is it good for fingerstyle?
Not so good for finger style because string space is less. This guitar is good for strumming.
Excellent demo Meg! 👍
😍
good.
hello mam can i ask? how much now the model fs400c yamaha acoustic guitar in your country? or if converted the price here in philippines?
Is she your mother ?
Did you have to do a set up?

How are the strings to play? Soft or way too hard?
Depends what strings you put on it..
@@philpants44they meant the action from the factory
Truss rod?
Yes it has. I just got it adjusted now
It's a very rubbish guitar. No matter what strings you'd use, it's just to painful for the fingers
This has nothing to do with the guitar, it need to have a setup like every guitar in that price. Mine after a setup is great guitar
Feet is the worse enemy for a bad dancer
@@PanoramaUnion can you explain further about the setup please I just bought and it’s coming tomorrow what do I need to buy for it?

I liked the more slim meg, I wonder what happened. she looks like a totally different person.
Gorgeous playing, Meg!
Wow, what a terrible comment.
I'm not sure if this is the guitar that my mom bought in 1994-1996 I don't remember
