I'm a green belt in Tang Soo Do. I bought a martial arts book called "American Tang Soo Do Hyungs: A Guide to Black Belt." It is a very good book to buy if you are looking to learn each form step-by-step. That is the book I recommend to everyone.
Reminds me of Tang Soo Do class in the early 1970's Detroit. Sergeant Ken Johnson was our Sensei and I remember him giving us a copy of this form to practice at home before we learned it correctly from him.

This looks like the first kata from karate.
The main thing i noticed is in Karate the leg movements are used as sweeps, but here looks like the lower body isn’t really used

base form 1! base form two has no similarities besides upper block.
