I like how even before Dick “The Clerk” Johnson realized they were aliens, he wasn’t even all that bothered that they were taking a bunch of Gall Blastrs without paying for them.
there are so many elements here that are easy to get wrong, yet done correctly. this could have just been oznit being annoyed for 5 minutes, but the archetypes he gets to bounce off of were executed with care. a charming idiot instead of a brainless problem generator, and a silly nerd instead of some tired commentary on shut-ins.
Gas stations in bizarre locations hold a special place in my heart. Major props for such a high-quality project, the background designs are STUFFED with brilliant details!

God it would be amazing if this was transformed into a Space Goofs esque series where Yugo and Oznit get stranded on Earth again and have to deal all the wacky bullshit this planet can muster so they can get back home.
Part of the Pre-25 view crew, holy shit this is one of the funniest animations I’ve seen in a fair while. 1 minute and 30 seconds in, and I’d already watch Oscar and Hugo as a genuine cartoon duo, a pairing id spend hours watching on end. The entire thing is a blessing to see this early, and I hope this gets the attention it deserves. Overall incredible to experience, and I truly hope the work has paid off!

LMAO! This really does have the soul of the old, classic cartoons. And most of the adult jokes were fairly subtle, not screaming in your face, which is a nice change from what I usually see.

I would pay for this to be a fully fleshed show. This is so beautifully animated and well done that I want more of these little guys. Maybe go back to Earth to try and understand humans better after seeing that humans are not as evil as they (Oznit) thought. Also, love the stereotype alien at the end. Nice touch.

Probably could've told the clerk to back away from their "liftoff zone".
Maybe it's a common sense in their culture, like "don't run with scissors" in ours. So the space goofs just didn't think about warning the poor guy.

At 2:59 to 3:14 In an alternative universe; Dr.Membra succeeded killing off not just X Marks himself, but the rest of the Aardvarks as well.
I like to imagine the aardvark multplied the gum which is probably why dr membra is on the gum wrapper
