- Hello everyone, Thank you for the support. Your wonderful comments always keep me motivated towards making more videos. Often, the process of applying for a PhD becomes confusing, so I thought to simplify it for you.

Timeline for Fall 2025:
1.Prepare the list of universities and professors (July-August).
2.Plan the dates for all the tests in parallel and start preparing for them. (Plan to give exams at least before September)
3.Prepare your SOP and CV in parallel (August-September).
----Do not stress out; consider this as your first draft, and you can always improve it later on. For now, just make the first draft----
4.Start sending emails to professors (late August - early September).
5.Based on the replies, select the pool of universities to apply to.
6.Get in touch with 3 or 4 professors from your university (masters or bachelors) for the LOR.
7.Press the submit button before the deadline.

Thank you for sharing all the info.
As you've mentioned in the video - "don't send emails if you're confident that you'll get in the program".
Based on my research so far, some suggest not to send email as it may backfire while other suggest to reach out to profs. Super perplexed about this.
And when do you recommend to connect with prof for LOR's?

Your videos are very well organized. I want your advice for same. I've done bachelor of elementary education and has pyschology as subj.. And now I'm pursuing MA pyschology from ignou(1st yr). I haven't published any reserach paper yet and want to know how much chance I've to go for fully funded phd programme in counselling pyschology?

Hi, it's a very informative for me I watched all your video and i am currently USA for masters I want to change for PhD so could you please tell me we can apply only base of international or transfer application
Just talk to your advisor.
Get in touch with the department administration, they can explain you the whole process. Its very common to convert ur masters into phd.

So, for that i would suggest look for a professor who is taking phd students in his/her lab. Get in touch with them.
If your masters advisor is ready to take u as PhD then even better.
Rest of the process varies from university to university, so get in touch with the college administration.

Fall 2025 is January February and March 2025?
Fall 2025 means the session will start in August generally.
But you have to start the process a little early because the application deadlines are in Dec of the year prior.

Well its for USA and Canada generally.
Fpr europe and australias.. I dont think there is any timeline. Its more like whenever a position is open u can join. Again its based on my experience

I found many videos on UA-cam relating to this topic, however all those were good but felt disorganized for me.. So yea! please keep making videos. We need you!

The whole idea was to cit the clutter and come to the point. And i too struggled with that a lot (unorganised, scattered) videos that are there on you tube.
