- Here are some answers to the questions that I tried to answer.
I know I have not covered all of the questions, but probably I will cover some in next videos'.
Also I also have a limited knowledge about this, so I might have to look for the answers myself but, I will try to answers ass many as possible.

Brother in one video of student from UCLA i heared that you don't get the advertised stipend, that is subjective to the hours of work you are putting in like for example 40 hrs per week
And she said that you dont get to work 40 hours per week
So you only recieve 50% or 25% of the stipend typically
So the hour you can work in a week are genrally 20 hours. I never cane across such a situation where we are not paid fully.
I am not sure what she was talking about.

All depends on ur profile, How strong it is. Rest dependa on selection committee and the prof, if he likes ur profile or not.
IF you feel ur profile is not strong then look for ways to make it strong.. Like look for opportunities to work in a research project at a good place..
