I’m an ‘on/off’ painter, I fall in and out of love with it. I haven’t painted for a few weeks now. I am very hard on myself and get easily discouraged by my failures. Your advice on being kind to yourself, putting on your favorite music and leaving expectations behind is priceless. I resolve to get going immediately and take all your wonderful advice to heart, thank you for all your great videos.

I do the same. I’ve dabbled in watercolour for over 10 years. Had some pieces in a show last year where I sold a few. I get very discouraged feeling unsure about my style, or if I even have one. Thank you for your help. ❤️

Thank You for the helpful advice, I guess my goal in my work i want to achieve the full effects of the colour and bring the painting to life, using the right blend of colours and shapes and textures tend to take time if doing a really nice landscape but like you say to be less hard on ourselves is questioning have we done it right in the process of developing the work 😉👍
