    It seems difficult to gauge what type of shape Shi is in. The 205 FS appears labored, but he also had the power to snatch 160 at Worlds. Perhaps the C&J positions aggravate his injuries more? Part of me feels doubtful, but the other part remembers that this is Shi Zhiyong. Like he says he can do 180, but even despite the difficulty, it's Shi so maybe SJJ is right and 200 is there. I guess we'll see soon.

    I think Shi can get back to his usual strength soon-after hearing about the struggles he had to become and stay an undefeated lifter, he seems like he has the mindset that he'd rather die than not give it his all

      sometimes pain is a crucial factor for those 1max attempts that heavily relies on both technique and power

    You know we really don't give attention to li fabin. The way he has stayed healthy while being competitive at this level is truly commendable

    I wondered Old Shi had Habit to Clean&Jerk deeper on His Left Side but now seems His Left looks struggle compared than His Right ?
