Yes. My pops got it online for jig casting & so far I'm liking the light weight action. Haven't hooked up anything major on it yet so we'll see how it performs. Thanks for checking the video 🤙🏼
I was using the Okuma Azores Z65S reel that's been very effective on catching Yellowtail & Big Bonito. I highly recommend this reel for offshore pelagic fish. Thanks for viewing & commenting 🤙🏽
Okuma Azores Z-65s - Highly recommended for big game saltwater fishing. Built like a tank w/ a powerful drag system. Thank you for checking out the vid 🤙🏼
Cool to fish with u other day on the Pacifica for your b day, bummer we couldn’t get into a ripper ! I’ll keep my eye on your vids. We’ll have to get redemption for sure! Ps it’s the guy across from u on boat
Yeah man was tough fishing for sure but we gave it our best. I'm working on the video from the trip now it should be ready by next week. Thanks for tuning in bro & see you at the rail soon 🤙🏼
I would bring an assortment of jigs from 40g to 300g depending on what size fish you run into. Shiny irons & colored plastics will work if the conditions are right. Go heavier if there's some wind or chop. Good luck out there 🤙🏼
@@trickz_4356 giant waves, we are horizontal to Ensenada on Producer overnight trip, boat limit on yellowtail and dorado at 9am and we head back at 11am.
Shimano Current (Colt) Sniper 80g in Blue/Silver + Hookup Baits 1.5oz Big Game Mint jig. Hooked 3 Yellowtail on the Hookup Bait & landed 2. Thanks for viewing & good luck on your trip 🤙🏼
I use braided line to fluorocarbon for finesse style fishing while offshore. Many anglers use straight mono because it has some stretch to it. I would maybe try both & see which one works better 🤙🏼
I have 65# braid on those setups with 25# fluorocarbon leader. The captain recommended 30# line or lighter if the fish are finicky. Thanks for peeping 🤙🏼
You got the vid of my yt going off at gaff.
Good stuff 👍🏼
Yo Eddie! Too bad you didn't get that one but you definitely did get another one. They were biting decent on the jig that day 🤙🏼
Like your video, I cannot wait for your next video coming soon!
Awesome. Yes yes, soon soon 🤙🏼
I subscribed friend great video stay connected 👍
Thank you for checking out the video and subscription 🙏🏼
Is that an Ecooda Thunderclap Boat II rod? I have two of those 8'6" for my light setup. Love that rod, very light but strong!

Oooo hi
How were u fishing the HUBs? Did you let ‘em sink out or keep ‘em on the surface or what?
I like to sink 'em for 30 to 45 seconds then give it short pumps on the retrieve. Let it sink back down 1/2 way back seems to work 🤙🏼
nice catches what spining reel ware you using?

What kind of lures did you use? I’m going out on a full day trip this Sunday I could use some advice. Thanks in advance.

What do you recommend as a main line?

Tight lines, good stuff🔥🔥What weight line were you throwing on that spinning real setup?
I have 65# braid on those setups with 25# fluorocarbon leader. The captain recommended 30# line or lighter if the fish are finicky. Thanks for peeping 🤙🏼
