great video , hard fighting fish , love how you took the first mins. of the video on the gear setups 👍👍👍 love that info thanks for making the videos and showing the gear we need to bring on those trips 🎣🎣🐟🐟🐟🐟
@Blueskies Mine 25 yards 60# Fluorocarbon leader 100 yards 60# braid in blue and 80# Backing white so when the captain says they are at 300 feet I know approximately where my bait is at
Hey jim, all i want to say is, the Grande is the best boat out there and the deck hands are unmatched and the captain is the best, he put us on the fish and didn't stop till the boat limited out on yellowtail in Bonita, the captain made sure everyone went home with limits, there were five of us we took home more than 200lbs of just meat, I will be back on the Grande.
WTH!!! These guys pay good money to let the crew fight their fish the entire time. Sure, these BF are very strong but common dude do some pushup before you come out. :D
I don’t let the crew fight my fish. $240 plus tip, waking up early and spending the whole day on the water just to hand the rod off so the deckhands can fight and land the fish. Actually, it’s not a hand off. The deckhands take the rod away from you and give you a high five when he lands the fish.
I’m waiting for the weather to warm up and I gotta get out there. How many times I seen this video I dunno. 60# line he was using I don’t think 80 or a 100# line wouldn’t make a difference lol. Yea I’m a fair weather fisherman I know I know 👏👏👏
@@cousinjim1 Thank you. That's great they are still biting. May go this coming Sunday and for sure (if they don't cancel) the following Sunday. Fingers X'ed. Tight lines!😄
@@cousinjim1 I been on that boat 5 times an never had something only a headache as much as I like going out there I'm just going to go out of 22nd landing in the fall
