I really feel for you. I just got to play for the first time since last January, just last weekend. I've put on 30 pounds since lockdown started and I lost my weekly exercise, so all the fancy stuff stayed at home and I ran a cheap chicom and a new AK.
I run 4.5kg Travail plates front & rear in my DCS as well..but only for CQB, as running around with full on plate carrier with plates all day is knackering..
Not sure if I should count myself lucky or not that I haven't tried (had chance) to skirmish with them yet! Knackering is the goal though, hopefully will help to shed a few kgs 👌
@@ModeCharlieYT Despite the weight when fully loaded, it does feel weird putting on the carrier as you would think you'd be weighed down a lot..but feels good...just hard wearing it all day. :)
I was planning on putting a review of the Travail plates together sometime soon but I may just wait until after the first skirmish to give my true opinions! Out of curiosity, how long have you had yours? Seems that Travail have had a few hiccups recently but I did get my plates delivered so I'm not gonna hold it against them too much!
Great video. Always better to spend more money on the front end for the real stuff over buying cheaply made knock-offs that break the first time you use it. Well done.
This is an impressive video and you have a nice easy way about you. Would have been nice to see you in your rig at the end of the video but, that's just picky. Any who, that's a 'sub' from me, maybe see you on the field... Peace Out! ✌🏼😎
So 3M Peltor comtac ear defence that cost £350 and are also the chosen ear defence for the British Army aren't as good as £38 ear defence?! Interesting train of thought!
Ah, I see you forgot to listen to the bit where I said "cheaper replica" Peltors and didn't say they'd be a better choice than genuine 3M Peltor Comtacs. Thanks for commenting though, tis a small channel so the boost in engagement is helpful 😉
Turns out I was completely wrong! I have the 12mm neoprene backing on my Travail Fitness plates with the pyrosorb options being 15mm and 20mm

Oh I feel for you too bud! That's what the weighted plates are for, hopefully help me shed a bit of fat - extra exercise that's somewhat disguised!
well made!
nice

@@ModeCharlieYT about a year and a half...used about 8 times..inbetween running different kit. Still in good nick. ☺

Why do you use real plate carrier for airsoft 😂
