This video should be watched daily. I love Christopher Walken. This video should make anybody smile. Walken is a national treasure. Kudos to the person who put this video together.
He grew up in Astoria queens, ny. My uncle was friends with him and his family. Chris was a dancer first before getting into acting. My uncle said he was always a little different than the others but in a good way.
Lots of people can dance like this. What makes Walken truly remarkable is how well he acts while dancing. He makes it look easy, almost like anybody could do it. That is the sign of a real pro.
"You gotta admit it... he's got the moves." And his talent for making it look easy is off the charts. His facial expressions are a treasure as we can see he loves being a showman when he dances. This song is so perfect, so right for demonstrating some of his stuff. Always a smooth operator. And I love his cadence when he talks, and it's always funny hearing impersonations attempting to capture the Christoffer Walken drawl. And he can't help but steal every scene he's in. A truly skillful actor.
He was interviewed and he said that he tries to put a short little dance in everyone of his movies. That is incredible, but then again, it’s the King of New York.

A number of actors began their careers as hoofers. James Cagney, Jerry Orbach and Christopher. All great dancers.
He grew up in Astoria queens, ny. My uncle was friends with him and his family. Chris was a dancer first before getting into acting. My uncle said he was always a little different than the others but in a good way.

Offhand, the one thing I'd guess he needs is MORE COWBELL.
Lots of people can dance like this. What makes Walken truly remarkable is how well he acts while dancing. He makes it look easy, almost like anybody could do it. That is the sign of a real pro.
"You gotta admit it... he's got the moves." And his talent for making it look easy is off the charts. His facial expressions are a treasure as we can see he loves being a showman when he dances. This song is so perfect, so right for demonstrating some of his stuff. Always a smooth operator. And I love his cadence when he talks, and it's always funny hearing impersonations attempting to capture the Christoffer Walken drawl. And he can't help but steal every scene he's in. A truly skillful actor.
