Oh be careful little eyes what you see for the Father up above is looking down in love , oh be careful little eyes what you hear🎶 Oh be careful little ears what you hear 🎶 Oh be careful what you say for the Father up above is looking down in love🦋
Could you ask Rabbi Breitowitz to discuss the Torah perspective on 2 subjects: female masturbation and lesbian activity? It seems to me that it would not be as serious as male masturbation.
Let's be brutally honest here. There are countless examples where we twist the torah to fit reality. We don't stone the wayward son like it says in the Torah. Why? Because we invented a Halachah so that we could blissfully ignore it. Some even going as far as to say: 'The parents' voice has to sound the same when they denounce the son in front of the elders.' (a low male voice and a high female voice have to have the same pitch). We are completely uninterested in performing a whole host of things in the Torah because it doesn't match reality. Every time we read certain parashot, we come up with creative solutions to make horrible things more palatable and even sound beautiful. But let's get real, that's not at all what the Torah says and means, and we all know it. To come to the topic of homosexuality. Talk to any biologist and they will tell you that homosexuality is common in 99% of all mammals. OK? So we find the prohibition on homosexual intercourse in Vayikra. Let's come up with a creative solution like we do for the hundreds of other things that we blissfully ignore. For example, this prohibition is found in a paragraph that describes all forms of incest with females. The line on laying with a man obviously encapsulates all the aforementioned forms of incest with females but instead draws our attention to the fact that they can't be performed with a male either. When looking at the Hebrew verb for 'laying with', it is only ever used for incest in the Torah. There, problem solved. Now let's stop trying to twist reality into something it is not, and instead bring our attention to all the beauty that is found in the Torah.
First anyone struggling with this needs our empathy. In response. 1) There is no scientific evidence found yet. A 2018 study of 500,000 could not find a DNA link as they can for left handedness for example - maybe in the future they will find a chemical - but to date - no. 2) Cultural influence is huge with 30% of gen z women self-identifying as LGBTQ - elite schools - worse - Columbia over 50%. - these are not numbers that make sense. 3) If the Torah is about anything it is about free will e.g., the book of Dvarim and the implications of what we choose. 4) Uncovering underlying issues can successfully help those who want to find their way back to a traditional approach.

Let's just be creative about permitting humans to engage in all animal behaviors! You might want to look up Jane Goodall's work on the Gombe Chimpanzee War as well as Ian Gilby's research on male chimp sexual aggression towards female chimps. I'm sure if we look a bit we can find some animal behavior to support incest as well.
Great! Good thing you're in NYC!

In regard to the 2nd last question, the engaged man owes it to his fiancee to tell her how he doesn't feel.

Is this new?
